Show me how much of a snob you are, /mu/! What band or artist, or really anything about music do you find inherently worthless?

Who are the biggest scam artists in music history?
Is he the savior of rock currently?
I can't name any other decent rock artist popular with young people right now.
the dirty projectors could have saved rock but you picked a smelly white dude who appeals to ppl who think pizza is a funny meme over an ivy league genius and his army of robotic gynoid sex bots

itt:the greatest artist in their own respective genre
are there any bands that started god tier, fell into the bottom of the barrel and rise again to even better?
I dont get it, this is literally not music
I'm obsessed with this album and want to find more music like it. Other people have recommended Autechre who I already listen to, but I don't find their music to be as danceable as this album.
The Raster-Noton label is typically known to produce very "academic" music. I like this album so much because I find it to be at the intersection of academic music and fun/catchy/dancy music.
So ITT: albums like this one or more generally at the intersection of fun and academic; also discussion of why you think music might be appealing at this intersection
woah i was clearly wrong. this is awesome! To be fair, I haven't listened to any Autechre past Confield, so I guess I unfairly judged.
How has their recent music changed from their earlier stuff?
This Autechre song is also sort of similar to And IV : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pAf2aqZGl8w
But yeah, I must admit, except Ueno Masaaki, that they aren't a lot of people doing dank glitchy beats these days, AFAIK.
