Third Law is like Arca but less eventful and darker
TLOP isn't consistent in the slightest, but there are some real fun/interesting picks on there.
How to dance is country
Varmints is vaguely minimal experimental electronic music that makes sudden dips into pop, sorta like holly herndon does on her newest album.

So were there actual known incidents of him being a dick or was it just in general
Why no one says "So were there actual known incidents of HIS being a dick"? Isn't this the correct form?
>>64182319

Hey /mu/, I'm a big fan of certain sounds in metal - I think you'd classify my taste as 'power metal' generally. I love X Japan, Anciients and (don't laugh at me) Babymetal. High energy, very melodic, 'triumphant' sounding metal.
I was hoping /mu/ could give me some recommendations to expand my horizons and help me get a little more familiar with some of metal's lexicon.
>>64182245
try Gloryhammer, Twilight Force, Hammerfall, and Blind Guardian
These niggas right here are super fun and raunchy power-metal. Not as cheesy as Japanese power metal and a lot more inspired in the speed metal of the 80s.
I recommend that you get better taste in music

How many of you who play instruments know music theory?
uh i've studied it a little bit in lessons when i was younger, but asking if someone "knows music theory" is like asking if someone "knows maths", it's broad and stupidly reductive
music theory is just context for someone who's been playing an instrument for a while
if you've been playing for 5+ years, you probably have a grasp on the fundamentals of music theory, you just don't know the proper way to articulate it
knowing music theory doesn't get you laid like that dude
I'll start

come on will, you're already famous dude, just stop
WILL SHUT THE FUCK UP
Hey /mu/, just an /a/ cross-poster quite well versed in (mostly classical) music.
So, opinions on Jpop? Do you agree that Jpop is probably the funnier pop ever conceived?
Take this as an example

>ridiculously rich arrangement
>pretty technical
>ridiculously catchy melodies
>stuffed with (good!) harmonic and melodic clichés
>kawaii singer
