I saw MC Ride at a grocery store in Sacramento yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.
He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”
I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying...

>>66300624
First time I haven't enjoyed a DJ Shadow album. Everything felt really uninspired and misguided.
I'm a fan. After 4 listens I think it's great. One of the more underrated projects of the year.

Animals is a nice album, anon. Dogs is great, the stone part is beautiful as is the old men dying of cancer. Sheep is also really wonderful towards the ending part.
Good job. And you know what I'm doing fine. I'm doing great.
Listened to that album for the first time in like five years last week actually. It's pretty solid.

Right for the Noise rawk albums
I've been using this board for a good 5 years or so now and I think I've lost my interest in music. I started out here at 15 listening to noise, industrial music, and doom/sludge/drone and everything I listened to seemed to lighten up from there. Over the years, I went to hardcore/post-hardcore, math rock, emo, surf rock, twee pop, jangle, and now all I can really enjoy is top 40 pop.
Does this happen to everyone here? Or is something wrong with me right now?
hell be fine
i just discovered mu today hello

OP here
Hell I ever started playing guitar because of this board. I started with atonal noise rock when I couldn't actually play and moved to drone/doom, post-hardcore, mathy emo, and now all I can seem to make are repetitive twee/jangle pop songs. What's happened to me /mu/? this is making me sad

Is Wavves worth seeing in concert?
I like his two Lo fi albums, KOTB, Life Sux, and the GTA single...his last two albums though, I really didn't like much at all, especially Afraid of Heights. Anyways it's 60$ to see Wavves in Phoenix and I was just wondering if his concerts are fun or if it would be worth it for a casual fan. I'm over 21 too. Thanks all
>>66299313
60$ what the fuck kind of bullshit is that.

Alright /mu/, I've been banging my fucking face into the wall trying to find this artist I'd heard a while back. Here are some shitty clues, maybe you can help me solve this mystery.
>contemporary synth pop, came out in the last couple of years
>female vocalist, possibly british
>the lyrics were about being obsessed over her crush
>some out of place, unnerving sample looped in the background
>music video was tight...

was it something from PC music
Alright guys, so I came across this song a little while ago, and it seemed incredibly familiar to me, but I couldn't quite pin where I'd heard it. I've shown it to basically all the people I talk to about music, and all of them have said the same thing. Any ideas? Was it used on a TV show or something? Or am I / are all of my friends just absolutely crazy? Here's the song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BjSuEh-T9fw
It's very evocative of Baroque music, I think. Maybe you were thinking of something that Bach or some other Baroque composer wrote.
In the meantime I now have to go listen to Supper's Ready. There goes my next half hour, thanks OP.

oddly enough, I'm listening to it right now. Have fun though? and sorry? D:
