Wrote this shitty song today in honor of RSD. Y'all are a friendly bunch. Please listen and praise.
Why the fuck do people like this

Can /mu/ help me find a particular essentials chart? It was called something like "essential futuristic-core" and had albums like LP1 by FKA twigs, Shaking the Habitual by The Knife and Vulnicura by Bjork (so a very "postmodern Marxist cyborg" aesthetic). I also remember it having a white background. Anybody able to help me find it?
No exactly what you've asked for but I've got a couple of those.
Thoughts on this?
Any love for Airiel? I don't see them mentioned here ever, but they're one of the ones that got me into shoegaze and they're the one I keep going back to, along with Medicine.
In Your Room-
Also shoegaze discussion thread I guess.

Hello Venus edition
LAST ONE DIED
Post your shit and then leave please...
>my most accessible release
>i don't know how to describe this release besides a sloppy EP which I recorded and wrote over the course of a week
>wall of sound-esque production mixed with highly modulated and loosely structured vocals (surprise at the end)
>Dark Ambient, Plunderphonics, Depression
Download comes with a free story I wrote for the album.
Huge rec to Nick. Definitely my favorite Lattice Collective project so far. I'm liking the fact that you're mixing the vocals up higher and making the beats trippier. I'm loving it.
I managed to do a split with Aaron Ellis
UNO DOES TRES QUATRO
This is better than anything by The Beach Boys
Maybe Van Dyke is more clean and professional, but he lacks the creativity used on smile sessions, and the sensitivity in general for me.
He feels a bit stiff, it's hard to explain, but it feels like everything is TOO prepared.
Why do people seem to hate this album so much?
