Transitions are an underrated aspect of music. Pic related had spectacular transitions between songs.
Some other albums with god tier transitions?

You should be ashamed of yourself.
Imagine a married couple with the shared last name Pumper. Imagine the wife giving birth to a baby boy. Imagine them deciding to name that boy Sweet.
Sweet Pumper. Pumper, Sweet.
Imagine going through life with the name Sweet Pumper. What sort of a worldview would it result in you developing?
Imagine losing your virginity to a man called Sweet Pumper. Imagine marrying a man called Sweet Pumper. Imagine growing old with a man called Sweet Pumper.
Imagine your father's name being Sweet Pumper. Imagine your cowoker's name, or your boss' name, or your...

Apart from Thank God For Girls this is a sublime album. I almost can't believe it.
My favourite track at the moment is (Girl We Got A) Good Thing, although I think it's the most divisive as I've seen a lot of people saying they hate it, and a lot saying they love it. I can't get enough of the bridge.

It and Do You Wanna Get High are the best Weezer songs in nearly 20 years though.

I agree, but just from reading comments on here and other sites it seems like a real marmite song.

Getting married this year, trying to find music for the day of. Anyone have suggestions on the song for her to walk down the aisle to? No country music. Looking for something beautiful and intense, and makes me feel the way Caspian does.

You already have everything.
As long as you have a way to make the sound and a way to pick it up, you're set. You have that. You don't need anything else. Focusing on equipment isn't going to make you any more motivated. You have plenty of stuff already and have already procrastinated for years.
Just do it already instead of yelling yourself you won't because you 'need' more stuff.
>>64124876
You're definitely right. I've started recording some stuff recently on soundcloud. I'm sorta giving up on the "Hey can you listen to my stuff and give feedback?" since it doesn't really help.
I guess one thing I do need are ways to properly understand what I'm doing and make my workflow more efficient. Any good, extensive, preferably linear courses on working with DAWS, essential production stuff(compression, EQ, etc), or just handy tips for creating certain effects/soundscapes?
>>64124953
I personally don't have anything. I never really followed any tutorials. I just looked shit up as needed and learned stuff on my own testing shit out in ableton. Everyone kinda learns differently
