>Wifey gonna kill me, she the female OJ
What did he mean by this?
>>66487463
He cheats on his wife
She's like the female version of orange juice. Orange juice contains citric acids that can damage your teeth in large quantities. His wife is going to kill him by melting him in extremely concentrated "OJ" or orange juice.
>>66487515
wtf I hate Orange Juice now
honestly the most honest reviews ever
lmao

hi swans and avalanches fans
>>66487449
I like them. I probably follow them more than any of the other reviewers + publications, but I still only check their site every once in a while.
APOLOGIZE
If I had a time machine I'd drop this untalented fuckwit in Auschwitz.
>INB4 HEEZ UH GEW WRAPPER
If he hadn't of collabed with Daft Punk he would have been nothing more than another one-hit-wonder of the 2000s.
>>66487318
But I believed him the entire time
Only ignorant waifufags and normies didn't

And the recording

Why is the general public becoming increasingly closed-minded about music as time goes on? People on fucking St Vincent videos saying "This is sooo weeeird. She has no talent." She would've been massive in the 80's. Is consumerism to blame here?
>>66487282
Because the general public has shit taste
Although St Vincent is pretty shitty as well
>>66487298
St Vincent maybe wasn't the best example. I can see why any music fanatic finds her uninteresting, but your average person who hates St Vincent complains about how "weeeird" they are and would probably shit on Bjork for the same reason.
>>66487282
I think the internet has allowed people to consume increasingly unchallenging media. You'll find people listening to niche genres your mom hasn't heard of like electro-swing, but anything more substantial that isn't instantly gratifying can be tossed away. I'm talking out my ass btw, I wasn't alive in the 80s and I don't remember not having internet.
ebin meme bro XD
>>66487090
epic bait bro
What are some bands that absolutely suck at concerts?
Im talking about straight up sucking to using autotune blatantly.
Pic related sum 41, holy shit how did these guys even got a seal of approval from a label?
>>66487070
"OK man, this solo is pretty crazy, did you wrote sheets?"
-"What? Fuck no, how am I gonna write a sheet about this thing? Theres like 10 notes per second dude"
-"OK but how are you going to play it live?"
-"Lol I'll just jam some random notes m8, they wont even notice"
>tfw went to a sum41 concert had to leave early because it was unbearable.
Also pretty much any pop band
>>66487312
me too bro
damn it sucked
I'm hearing that Alan Vega has died.

Are we going to keep posting this until it's stickied?
I'm fine with this
>>66486939
Yeah what? Haven't seen anything on this
Let's talk about this album.
>>66486867
Wacky tunes!
i mean, not cool on my book
Anyone else masturbate to this?
Alright, /mu/. We're building the ultimate feels playlist. Every post with dubs (or is replied to with dubs) is approved.

Who are the members of the Residents? It's actually pretty impressive they've managed to keep their identities hidden for so long
http://residentsmovie.com/
I haven't seen this movie yet and I don't know the content of it, but I'd imagine it would give you some clues.
Personally I hope they never reveal their identities and the band just exists forever as some secret society.
Homer Flynn.
This thread is insipid.
Tim Smith of Cardiacs is a member which is why they haven't released anything new since the stroke
Does mu like big beat and other late 90s dance subgenres? Post your favorite songs, albums, groups, etc.

one of my personal faves
>>66486846
I still have this CD kicking around
oh yes
Can /mu/ help me out? I'm trip-sitting in a couple days and I'm looking for some music to put on while we're at my place and while we're driving. Which albums are made to trip to or are the best to trip to? I'll listen to any I haven't heard. They mostly listen to EDM and rap normally but they love the kind of stuff I listen to while tripping.
Pic related is god tier. When I listened while tripping, Taste came on I thought I was thinking the song and then had ego death for the first time.
Meanwhile I'll just post some of my favorites, too.
General psychedelic thread i guess
>and then had ego death for the first time
lul
A lot of things come to mind
Anything in particular?

Animal Collective - Hollinndagain
/mu/, I need music that's heavy, and angry with fast riffs and loud vocals. I need shit to head bang really hard to. I've been listening to Rise Against and Sum 41's Chuck Album for the hardcore plays but with catchy choruses and I've been listening to darker stuff like Slipknot and Korn, but I still want to find more bands with their tones. Can you guys give me any more Bands and/or Albums that I can Jam out and Head bang to?
Holy shit.

How the fuck do you learn songs by ear? Or even identify chords, tuning etc.?
I have been playing guitar for about 3 or 4 years now and I'm still fucking awful at it.
I can barely see the guitarist playing the song I want to learn so that doesn't help either.
>>66486366
git gud
>>66486383
I am likely a fairly mediocre guitarist but after all this time I expected things to get easier, I'm just awful at it.
>>66486409
Listen to simple songs. Try to guess chords.
Go slowly until each chord sounds right. Play along with the song using the chords you figured out and see if it sounds the same. Look up chords/tabs online. See how yours compare. Try yours and the online version and see which is closer. Do this many times until you are consistently as good or better than tab websites.
ITAOTS would be a good album to start with,
