Is there anything worse than when people judge an artist by the worst of their fanbase? Such fucking lazy criticism. That fact that it is so prevalent on Music Writer Twitter is even more upsetting.
There's about a million things worse than that. Yes you really shouldn't judge based on fanbase but it is inescapable. Often the only reason you know of the music is due to the fans.

Is it a terrible idea to major in music?
Im taking a composition class and i really like it though it can be challenging. I have no hobbies besides playing shitty music and watching movies and ive been thinking that i might want to become a composer and maybe try to create music for movies. Am i retarded for wanting to maybe pursue this? Im not dead set on it, but i have been thinking about it a lot lately.
