hey, 7 am here, winter so it's still nighttime, woke up an hour ago, pic related my window
listening to tei shi
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vsVfNcCIsRs
she has more laid back songs than that one, but I linked it because I find her singing very impressive
>>66301303
damn you have good taste imo
Is Tool ever gonna release that album
>>66300714
>he listens to Tool
I didn't like this after my first two listens. Today I listened to it all the way through and it just clicked. This is a ridiculous achievement
>>66300330
What did you think of Exai? I didn't care for elseq as much as that one.
Yes it is indeed Album of the year
imo this year has been pretty stacked in terms of both dance and experimental electronic music, but this is definitely in contention for being one of my favorite releases. the fifth 'disc' especially.
sorta unrelated, but i'd love for them to hook up with lee gamble at some point.
Post the song that was #1 in your country on the day you were born

I hate it because my mum used to have it on a playlist for long car journeys. This, Abba, Barbara Streisand and shit like that. Now I associate them with 6 hour car rides
despite idm acts often being praised here (aphex, venetian snares, autechre etc) i rarely see the genre itself, related record labels, and lesser known artists being discussed.
post recs, favs, rare rdj's. idc. go with the flow
pic related.

Thats future jazz
>>66300163
I wonder if that dude who really knew his shit from the last one of these that popped up is still around
>>66300501
Thats downtempo ya dingus
The RYM list for '''''IDM''''''' is the funniest thing I've ever seen.
Theres house, hip hop, downtempo, techno and other genres which aren't remotely '''IDM'''.
PROTIP: Its not an umbrella term for ''''electronic music''''' /bleep/ would rip you apart for posting in their general.
/Mu/ I'm at a wits end here. Can you please tell me why girls choose to listen to really shitty music??
>>66300107
because they see what other people on tumblr, twitter listen to and copy them
u listen to bones so theres really not much difference
>>66300115
yeah not like us right?

When will you finally give up on trying to be a special snowflake and just admit that scaruffi's ratings are correct?
Defend this, I dare you.
>>66295791
>he fell for the 'Limp Bizkit is bad' meme
>>66295791
Scaruffi explains himself in great detail on those pages. If you'd just get past the rating and the meme pastas and actually read the thing, you'd see he makes very good points.
did /mu/ like it?
i like it
>>66295293
Zach here, thanks man
>>66295293
it was alright
Yeah, pretty good. Bubble Letters is a favorite
What direction do you think she'll take on her next album?
If I was writing it
it would be elegaic
I dreead her releasing something poppy and
do di dooo do dido
That's not the mood
go full Closer territory
A new one plz. Last two (in which Bless This Giant is counted) are just bad.
>>66289489
Electropop with some powerful guitars. It will be her most experimental.
