Huh, thought this was gonna be a meme but it's actually really good.
Is music criticism dead?
Music criticism has never been good; good, musical writings are done by academic musicians and not the critics. See the various books on harmony by Zarlino, Rameau, Schoenberg, and Boulez' "Notes of an Apprenticeship."
come give this masterpiece a listen boys
great job here
Is 8080808 a shot at Knanye West?
i just found out my copy of strawberry jam was sped up for some reason! was listening to one of the songs on a different player and realized it sounded slow, compared the track lengths w wikipedia, each song was like 5-15 seconds shorter!! not the worst thing that could've happened but i'm feeling betrayed
anyone have any worse stories?
Anytime I download Pullhair Rubeye it sounds backwards and sped up. Who's the jackass who did this and spread it all over the internet? They can't have wanted it released this way.
someone replaced all the tracks with jason aldean
You subhuman baboon. You literal nigger.
How dare you speak, you swarthy jungle monkey. How dare you open your big lipped, rim encrusted, menthol cigarette smelling mouth?
You are human trash, universally despised, derided and mocked. Crawl back in to the jungle you came out of, you literal orangutan.
I'm worried about the new Death Grips album.
It seems that the band has taken an even more chaotic approach to their music while keeping the cryptic lyricism on Niggas on the Moon. Basically, we know what's going to be on the album.
This turn in their discography is the first one that was predictable and logical. Without this insecurity of what the future album will bring us, we're left with no surprise and a mediocre album.
The best we could hope for is some freaky shit/clues leading up to the album, but as far as the actual music goes, it will be nothing new.
I thought you guys said this was bad.
What killed this place?
Albums that have made you cry on multiple occasions
It has always rather been the occasions, particular vulnerability to nostalgia, than the music that made me cry, but with a rare exception like 'To Be Over', I have only cried to 'Awaken' and 'Starless'.
We put Thomas the Tank engine into album covers
