Did you like this album? I like it a lot but I've heard it's polarizing. I definitely think it's eclipsed by Hesitation Marks when it comes to post-The Fragile NIN though.
>>64238953
With Teeth wasn't that bad of an album tbqh, not sure about HM overshadowing it in terms of post-90s NiN tho, always thought Year Zero was generally more liked
Not trolling here.
What's so appealing about NIN? I like the instrumentation and effects but when Trent starts to sing the whole song goes to shit, he sounds like a fucking boy band singer or something
Is there any industrial rock band with better or no vocals?
>>64238953
It's pretty bland, and the songwriting is mostly inferior to everything that came before and after it
With that being said, it's consistently good throughout, it's just that nothing really jumps out at you, aside from maybe right where it belongs
I want to listen to Xiu Xiu Plays the Music of Twin Peaks but Ive never listened to any Twin Peaks soundtracks or Xiu Xiu. Where should I start ?

Are you happy that the old artists start dying and soon we will live in a world without dadrock?
>>64238926
>Axl Rose joining ACDC
A new era in dad rock is only beginning
>>64238926
Usually not happy when someone diess because I'm not a god damned sociopath.
That being said, yes I am happy about the end of dadrock
Dad rock is a word used by teenagers because they're still in their rebellious phase of wanting to be as different as possible from their parents. This is one of those threads that proves /mu/ is almost entirely underage

He was surrounded by the people who loved him. Even the on-duty nurse said she wishes she could die like him. Prince died surrounded by gold.
What Negativland releases should I listen to? Fuck Prince and his pop garbage.
>On numerous occasions, Prince has refused Yankovic permission to record parodies of his songs. Yankovic has stated in interviews that he has "approached him every few years [to] see if he's lightened up."[98] Yankovic related one story where, before the American Music Awards where he and Prince were assigned to sit in the same row, he got a telegram from Prince's lawyers, demanding he not make eye contact with the artist.[82]
Good times.
thank god that cunt died.
This is the first thing I thought of when I herd Prince died
SOAD anyone? I like streamline, aerials, chop suey, soldier side, holy mountains, tentative, dreaming, lonely day (kind of a meme song though), B.Y.O.B, sad statue, lost in hollywood. does anyone else like SOAD?

Greatest Super Bowl Halftime show & he gave so many fucks I may or may have not cried at some point.
>>64238650
Only weakness was he was just an okay lyricist. Otherwise...not many could equal him in pop history.
>Five classic 10/10 albums
c'mon, nobody believes that
Was the Ketchup Song by Las Ketchup the best pop single of the 2000s?
Not even the best memeworthy generic euro-pop track of that year
You are so painfully american, lmao
