PS: would be nice if Death Grips stop ripping off weezer's album covers
>would be nice if Death Grips stop ripping off weezer's album covers
and just their whole sound in general
Ive been saying this for years DG just aped everything weezer did and all these /mu/ plebs thinking DG are so original when they're literally just a colossal weezer rip off
Why did Grunge die /mu/
Nirvana became big and every major label wanted to have their own Nirvana. Thus began post-grunge, which was commercially produced grunge and frankly, isn't very good, save for a few albums. Market became saturated with it and it got old really fast.
I wouldn't be making music without it though, so I gotta thank it for existing.
What's the saddest album ever made? Not necessarily the one that makes you the most sad, just the one you think has the saddest backstory/paints a picture of the artist at his/her saddest.
Pic related for me, particularly the New York sessions bootleg.
Based on his wife's suffering of depression.
Is Neon Indian the new Prince?
This album is pretty good and one of the best albums from last year

>Calling yourself patrician

Late to the party with this one by more than a month but eh.
>Robert Turman is an inspiration to us all, be it in music or life. This comp is to benefit him as he had to have heart surgery (which went well!) and will be laid up from work for quite some time. Every cent from this goes directly to him. Please share this album to help Robert get thru this tough time. Thank you, Andrew Kirschner - MBTL

Christ, thank goodness this isn't out yet. I feel like I've spent more on noise these past couple months than I have for a year.
Currently listening: Whitehouse - Buchenwald
It's oddly beautiful. Getting past the screeching synth and Bennett's (restrained) screaming, there's some really pretty, mournful droning noise going on. It reminds me of a soundtrack to a Holocaust documentary.
The first vapor rapper? I got sent this video of a young rapper rhyming over vaporwave music and I actually found it quite unique and refreshing. Reminds me of early Tyler The Creator a bit. Check it.
What do you guys think of rap being fused with vapor wave, should it be a thing?
Nothing compares 2 /mu/
Do we have the best music taste in the world, mutants?
