Trout Mask Replica is the only great rock album ever made and the only work of popular music that can stand up to jazz and classical.
Prove me wrong.
I can't, you're right

its the only solution
he just did
any size, just post your chart, talk about how the internet has traumatized you for life and ask for recommendations from people's charts that look interesting. Or ignore the charts you don't have anything in common with. or do something, but please be productive and don't just respond to the first person in the thread because that's fucking annoying. please do reply to me though, I'd appreciate that!

Mainly a metalhead with a soft spot for Wu-Tang.
Have you checked out more of the classic East Coast Hip-Hop?
Ready To Die? Illmatic? The Infamous?
Here is my top 10.

this is not a top 10 thread
>His favorite beatle isn't george

that's the meme pick
Lennon was best beatle
Everyone knows it's Pete Best, I mean there's a clue in the name.

Never listened to Current 93 before, where do I start?

current 93 has only one really great album and those garbage charts don't direct you to it quickly enough

The Clash doesn't sound challenging and the fat dude is worrying, but owing to 'LTiA' alone I'm going to ask you what the fourth album is.

Let's see.
Faced with an unknown to me, but generally known band, I generally check out thetoptens.com (>inb4; I do it as a mere popularity gauge) and the three top songs. But the top one, 'London Calling', is, well, I don't hear much music. Just instruments pounding, pound, pound, pound. It's basically jazz-tier in terms of complexity. Sorry. I'll stick to KC.
Will she be remembered 5 years from now as a soulless embodiment of pop consumerism?
She's regarded now as pretty much the end-all cosmic embodiment of soulless pop consumerism. She's the Ronald Reagan of pop music, the Margret Thatcher of pop, the Trump of pop.

Nah. She'll turn into another weird old bitch like Madonna with 3 kids by 3 different men, write conservative childrens books and weird everyone out by dating men half her age.
I don't care about politics in music - if it's something I don't agree with I can disassociate from it, I can listen to Billy Bragg and Xenophobic Ejaculation.
Borders shits me though - the smug tone in M.I.A.s voice when she says "What's up with that?" makes me want to put more refugee's in camps.
Everything is politics. Everything! One day you will understand that.
>>64286593
Well, I never said I didn't you fucking mong - I said I didn't care.
>>64286523
you want to put refugees in camps because of someone's tone?
how pathetic are you?
Give me one good reason why I shouldn't kill myself, /mu/.
think of all the memes you'll miss
Whats the problem desu
You'll never see which important musician dies next
Wow, 73 years old and he's still touring consistently! He must have the life force of a man 30 years younger.
hell be fine
If dubs he collapses at his next show
So does Chuck Berry, but he's on his last legs. Michael Gira is who you should've made this post about
>Still falls for the "Kanye is not a genius meme"
>>64286356
it was never a serious meme
He's not a genius.
>>64286356
He's a good beat producer at best
why is he seen as the least important member when his contribution is actually like 50 % of the music

Avril Lavigne - Bad Girl
This is really good.
/mu/ is too pleb for it
Anyway, I liked his previous two albums more, but I've only listened to this one twice and I liked it much more the second time, so it's definitely a grower
>>64285961
I personally think this is his best.
>>64286021
My favorite works of his are his latest 2 EPs (the ones from 2011 or 2012, I forget). You should check them out if you haven't.
doubt anyone on /mu/ listens to ferg but worth a shot. Thoughts on this album?
First half is incredible, falls apart second half. Only listened a few times - LOVED traplord and ASAP Mob's first album
its great, both halves
second half is more serious
love the production
strive is the only song thats ok, kind of too poppy and didnt fit
>>64285972
I feel like striveh e was going for radio exposure. I love it but it sure isnt FERG
It's fine.
Don't think too much about it.
