Richard Lyons from negativland died who is 100x more influential and creative than Prince, is getting no public reaction from it. Meanwhile everyone on /mu/ is acting like Prince is some sort of god when absouletly no threads were made about him before he died discussing his music.
Fuck you all

People are gonna starting meming him out of spite
negativland are bad
But you expect poor people with no money to die
i wanna talk about this album
>are you a bigger fan of disc 1 or disc 2?
>do you think it would have benefited from being cut down?
>if you had to reduce it down to one disc, which tracks would you keep?
The album is so goddamn long that by the time I'm finished I already forgot half of it. It has some interesting sounds and ideas but it's just too long. Also who are you quoting?

only the autists
Yeah, there are definitely Mexican punks
Much more are into:
The Cure but also other Goth + EBM.
Morrissey - he is a god to a lot of them, huge following
50s music, Elvis etc.
80s 'old school' (basically electrofunk like Zapp, George Clinton, etc)
A lot used to be into tribal house type stuff.
A lot of Mexican metalheads too
And obviously West Coast gangsta rap
what?
10'000 songs limit on spotify.
Don't ask me why.

RA the reddit man is an overrated rapper
Can you rec music to read to?
I've got a bunch of books to read for uni and I always find it easier to concentrate when I listen to music.
Also, it's really nice when you listen to an album and it kinda becomes the soundtrack to your book and gets associated to that book forever.
Pic related, I've listened to this album on repeat while reading a book on a train a few years back and it now reminds of it every time I listen to it.
I guess it needs to create a certain atmosphere and not be too distracting. If you know what I mean, I'd love...

Fuck you racist junkie
Hey /my/, do you remember the good ol' days? Before the world went to utter shit? Before the economic crash, before iPhones? Do you miss the Internet when it felt like an adventure - before it was ruined by normies and degeneracy? Older youth speak of the 90s as the time to be alive, but I say naught.
Us youth born between 1995-1998, we grew up as children in the early-mid 2000s, an era of digital pioneering, an era in which the internet, video games, the newest books, and the playground down the street all lived in complete harmony, none at the expense of the other.
Those...

Does /mu/ like Katy Perry?
I know I shouldn't but I do, her songs as catching as fuck, especially pic related
what are you favorites?
I'm perfectly open to really shameless phony pop, but it has to be good. She just really disappoints, and her shouty singing is tasteless.
The one where I see her tits
it's /turn-your-brain-off/ core
fun music occasionally but by any standards it's pretty shit
my favourite song of hers is probably last friday night
What do you wish they did differently?

I'd like them to focus more on their youtube channel and start doing reviews like anthony

It's a real good interlude, but it's not really a "song".
