Deerhunter is in town. Are they a good live show? Worth $20?
You make an album. Who of these guys should produce it?
IMO Eno, cause Albini will make it noisy, and Aphex will make it meme.
I'm not that into all the alternative stuff Albini produces. Don't hate it, just not that interesting to me.
Eno hasn't done anything that interesting in a while.
RDJ is great but he's really his own thing, he would make anything into an RDJ album.
From interviews I've seen with Albini, he sounds pretty passive in the studio. He'd probably do whatever you told him to do, though he does have a style he's best at.
That being said I'd choose him. I just really like his dedication to an organic, live mixing style. Personal taste.
This is Nightclubbing by Iggy Pop isn't it?
And this is Boys Keep Swinging by David Bowie?
is OPN okay?
This would be amazing to have sex to.
What's the correct answer to "what kind of music do you like?"
I feel as if I'm being asked to present my Club Membership card. My answer is supposed to reveal something about my personality and social life.
Now, innocent and inoffensive people who play catch with their pastor and "like rock" will advise me to just be myself, which is touching in its naiveté. But I am an offensive person who needs to wear a mask. I feel no connection with other people, and concerts are about as emotional for me as catching the subway. Even admitting...

These are the only acceptable answers. "Everything" is a cop out and makes people hate you, while anything more specific than the above four is too autistic and will creep them out.
Are you excited for MotM3?
Why was the late 60s-early 70s so good for experimental music and this generations is pretty much shit?
Because in those times musicians wanted always make new stuff. The best example being the krautrock and today's generation only cares about rehashing shit.
Rock is pretty much dead, there's nothing new to add on the genre.
Which is her best album/song?
ITT: music videos/songs in which you could never make out the words over the sound of blood rushing to your dick.
tfw no club edition
But I don't want to associate with the rest of the board. I've been feeling increasingly bored by current /mu/ trends and want something new. This kind of music seems interesting.
Alright guys who's looking forward to their new album coming out this year. I'll think it'll totally kick but imho. Anybody have some theories to share?
>Alright guys who's looking forward to their new album coming out this year.
I hope this is ironic. Even if it is, there are some things you just don't joke about, anon.
In December 2014, Brokencyde launched an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign, seeking US$30,000 to help fund the recording and marketing of a new album. By the time the funding period ended in February 2015, the band only managed to raise US$1,421 from 33 backers — less than 5% of their intended goal.
you know what's fucked up is if they were a straight forward band and didn't pull so many shenanigans in their early years but still kept the mystery angle they would be revered as the geniuses they are. it's a shame really the thing that got them known is the the thing that got them memed.
Can someone explain to me the appeal in emo and its variants? Sounds like trash to me.
