What is the ideal album length for you /mu/?
For me 30-45 minutes. Anything longer than 50 minutes is kind of a chore to listen to (since tracks in an album have the same feel/sound to them more or less)
As long as an album is consistently interesting or going through a narrative (which will lead to different modes throughout) I couldn't really care less about length.
However many albums overstay their welcome. Some albums only have 50 minutes worth of material but they stretch it to 70 minutes. I find those to be a chore for sure.
Your average Cradle of Filth fan
I describe Rap (Hip hop) as:
1. Ugly lyrics. Just a text full of useless content.
2. Crime-based content.
3. Misogyny and degrading women. Both lyrics and music videos.
4. Artless, no talent. Computer-generated stuff and bad vocals.
5. Promotes anarchy, illegal actions, anti-society behaviors, hatred, drugs.
6. Degenerates young people and teens.
7. Rap singers are not good role models for the kids.
8. This genre is not for the families, it's anti-family.
9. Finally, it's another Jewish product. Yes! Most...

>Tumblr, /mu/, /pol/, and news outlets talk about this like the second coming of TPAB and a celebration of black womanhood
>It's about her failing relationship with Jay Z and an examination of her life
I don't get where the "IT'S AN ALBUM FOR BLACK WOMEN BACK THE FUCK OFF???" is coming from. If anything, it's for one black woman. Beyonce.
You're right, this album has nothing to do with black people or black women.
Basically the media has made this idea up to get communities like /pol/ and /mu/ buttblasted, therefore further increasing the hype and attention surrounding the album.
And considering there's a bunch of threads all over this website with a bunch of autists talking about niggers and how she's a racist and whatever the fuck, it seems to have worked really fucking well.
Try topping this
Album covers that make you laugh for apparently no reasons
More music like "Ball and biscuit"-Elephant
Sounds cool as fuck. Something you'd be comfortable blasting in your car while driving.
The guitar in particular sounds fucking amazing in this.
What does /mu/ "really" think about this band?
Should women be allowed to continue attempting to make experimental music despite being so terrible at it?
Musical affirmative action needs to stop.
Who gives a shit about popular music criticism anyway?
This is probably the single worst ECM record I've ever listened to.
Here's a big ol' FUCK YOU to the anon that recommended it to me.
the Keith Jarrett Bach recordings aren't that great either
Why did they think this duet would be a good idea? Honest to God, it sounds like two separate practice sessions slapped together for shits and giggles. Meaningless, incoherent wank beginning to bitter end. What the fuck happened here?
More shit like this? I've listened to their other stuff and also artists like Talking Heads and Nick Cave, but I still haven't found anything that reaches it's level. Are there any artists and albums that reach it's melancholy and depression?
What music do pagan witches listen to?
