rec, rate, you've been given free rein
If you like William Byrd try Donald Byrd
What music does this thing listen to?
ITT we post albums/bands that are overrated by normies, but underrated by /mu/tants.
Also this album. If you claim to not like this album, you're just trying to sound cool.
Guess it's a mixtape but I personally like it a lot. Not sure if chance gets love or hate here
Can women ever understand this band?
Do we have a definitive list of samples for this? I know that sleep dealer has clips from the Wrigley's spearmint commercial.
He released a set of singles that were just the samples played immediately after one another
Can't remember the name of it but it's on discogs and you can check out the boxset on youtube
They're expensive as fuck iirc tho
>lay in bed
>the last orangesunlight of the day shines through the window
Rec me music for this very specific feel, please
>meet a guy who claims to "love music"
>ask him what instruments he plays
>"oh I play the guitar!"
>ask him if he's trained/training classically, for jazz or for flamenco
>"uh, nah not really, but I can do some badass rock solos"
You don't have to be "classically trained" to play jazz, but you do have to study and work hard. Classical and jazz both take a lot of dedication, which is why OP is referring to them.
LP9 is going to be titled 'Queen of Heirs' and will contain 9 tracks totaling 47 minutes. It will be released on May 13 at midnight, uploaded as a surprise to Radiohead's relaunched website before going up on iTunes, Amazon, etc. Don't ask how I know this, I'll lose my job.
ITT: Underrated Albums
>What's the deal with my brain?
>Why am I so obviously insane?
>In a perfect situation
>I let love down the drain.
>There's the pitch, slow and straight.
>All I have to do is swing
>and I'm the hero, but I'm the zero.
Albums with the best closer
Is there any actual weight behind the "Kurt Cobain was murdered" conspiracy theories or is it all "moon landing was fake"-tier shit?
ITT: School Shooter-core
Can emo fans rec me some stuff in this vein? I absolutely do not care for the earlier hardcore/ screamo stuff, but I don't want shitty pop punk hottopiccore bands either... I appreciate the combination of melodic songwriting and singing that still has that raw edge. I love JEW's Clarity too.
oh hey well done for recommending the three most popular bands associated with this type of music, doesn't matter at all that they sound entirely dissimilar to diary
but honestly, a great, well-informed and worthwhile post you abject fucking spastic
promise ring are pretty great too. definitely very melodic/catchy, pretty accessible imo.
