ah, goodness, what is happening!
I go with my fucking mom
Does that annoy you?
>"Bleach is their best album"
>"Off the Wall is his best album"
>"Dirty Mind is his best album"
>"On Avery Island is their best album"
What other albums from an artists discog to contrarian tryhards namedrop to seem well versed?
Amnesiac :^)
>>64662631
Ummagumma, apparently.
>>64662631
>>"Off the Wall is his best album"
This is true though.
how is this allowed?
>>64662627
because they're good albums?
Objectively they are wrong OP, you just need to remember that much. Currents was freakin bogus, wasn't that an Ian "Retard" Cohen review?
Currents is a solid 6.5/10 -- what a disappointment after Innerspeaker and Lonerism.
In Rainbows is easily a 9.8/10.
Find a flaw.

Niggers claim its art

made me lol so hard
Helped me get through a very depressed, nihilistic, drug addled stage of my life. It meant a whole lot to me at the time. I listened to their shit constantly and really resonated with a lot of the lyrics and aesthetics like I have with no other band.
Tbh though, now that I'm doing better, I can't feel the same way about them. Maybe I'm burnt out on them or maybe the music just isn't meant for where I'm at right now.
can you guys give me an actual reason to hate this band?
they dont seem any different than a lot of the stuff i see on here. they sing about the sad shit we all talk about. and their lyrics arent any more "edgy" than most bands on here
>inb4 muh colored hair
>inb4 this song will never be on the radio

You missed the most important detail
Their music is shit
>>64662481
too many religious undertones
Does Twenty One Pilots remind anyone else of Animal Collective?
Man, this album was overwhelming at first listens but beautiful now.

Curve are a great band. They do take a little immersion to appreciate them fully. One of my top 5 favorite bands of all time.
Pubic Fruit>Cuckoo>Doppelganger>Gift>
Open Day at the Hate Fest>Come Clean
Way of Curve has some great unreleased material.

1. In Rainbows
2.Amnesiac
3. Kid A
4. ok computer
5. TKOL
>>64661800
>only ranking 5 albums
>IR at the top or even top 4
OKC
Kid A
Amnesiac
HTTT
TKOL

The thing is that while the rest of the rankings are perfect, I could see Amnesiac being anywhere on that list.

dude I love all Trey Parker's songs, the guy is as good at music as he is at comedy. Immensely talented person. I always have Team America, South Park movie soundtracks on every device I have. I am excited to see The Book of Mormon as well when I can.

People who knock down Yngwie, Satriani, Vai etc can never play fast. Look, there's nothing wrong with guitarists like David Gilmour or Joe Walsh, but can we dispel with this fiction that they are in any way, shape or form 'better' guitarists than the real masters of the instrument?
Fast is good when you use it interestingly. I don't know Satriani and Vai very well but Yngwie's music is fucking boring.
Fripp is a fast player who does something interesting rather than set the fretboard on fire with explosive scale runs. He's not as fast as Yngwie but still very fast and some of his works are gonna be really fucking hard even to the meanest shredders.

I'm a fan of Yngwie, but he lacks one of the chief characteristics of a master, restraint.
I agree that Gilmour and Walsh are overrated.
Satriani is the only one worth a shit, mostly because he's so fun to watch play. Yngie doesn't know restraint and it's just fucking boring to listen to.
