that you had to check*
>>64788086
That's a good one
The Cardiacs did it on 1989, therefore, I it's not ahead of it's time.
hey /mu/ i'll be back, i'm going to the store. need me to pick anything up for you while i'm there?
>>64788005
Remember where you parked your car Thmmy boo.
>>64788005
Don't come back. Dig a hole and die in it.
>Me: Er...yeah...can you get me a strawberry cornetto?
>Thom: Anon, you know those things contain dairy. Dairy is BAD and SCARY. Bleep bloop.
>Me: This is why I do the shopping, Thom.
Am I the only person that thinks Jimmy Hendrix is overrated? I mean he was really good at the guitar but his songwriting abilities aren't anything too special.
>>64787551
At least spell his name right
>Jimi
no you're not
>>64787570
OP is 16
Usual stuff (rec, rate, assume, discuss, be nice)
>>64787527
really dig Blakey, and Harry Potter's string quartets.
How's Mahler's 10th? I really loved certain moments on the symphonies of his I've heard (1, 5, 6, 7, 8) but he always ends up losing steam multiple times throughout. maybe it's a lack of coherence or perhaps a lack of understanding on my part though.

Hello
How r u

your favorite film genre is drama
>>64787645
hey I finally gave Private Parts a listen yesterday
it was really good but I think I need to listen to it a few more times before it becomes a favorite of mine
>>64787673
you are from a European country
How does /mu/ feel about this performance?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JTEFKFiXSx4
It's not a great recital really, I take issue with the beep of the timer, I take issue with the dress of the pianist. It's all a bit cluttered I think.
Degeneracy
Shouldn't even bother posting that here. Above everyone's heads and this whole thread will devolve into memes. They'd rather listen to Memehead and Meme Grips.
LAST NIGHT
I HAD A DREAM ABOUT YOU
I prefer Random Access Memories.
I DONT WANNA LIVE NO MO'
SOMETIMES I HEAR DEATH KNOCKIN AT MY FRONT DO'
ITS AMAZING WHAT YOU'LL FIND

>>64787337
that's me
why are you posting a picture of me?
More albums like this /mu/? not exactly this but Im looking for some good guitar riff, great vocals and emotional albums that arent emo shit.
I already know unwound and built to spill, thanks.
This is a preety emo-ish album OP don't knock it till you try it
i would recommend Duster - Stratosphere
it has a p similar atmosphere to this album. memorable, beautiful guitar riffs. vocals are less strong though. definitely hits the emotions. also gets more abstract at some points (namely the title track)
>>64787488
>similar atmosphere
What the fuck are you on about? The atmospheres aren't similar at all m8.
>>64787325
That album has some heavy emo influences though. Check out Lonesome Crowded West, The Meadowlands, Drive Like Jehu, Fugazi, Jawbox, Mineral, The Van Pelt, Braids and Mock Orange. Also Brand New's The Devil And God takes a lot form Modest Mouse in some songs.
Where are you from and was Trio with their song "Da da da" popular in your country?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqk0jwNs2Ew
Unfortunately, today Peter Behrens the drummer of the band died.
It's still played on certain stations here in the UK. Always had a soft spot for this song.
>>64787282
no cares about white people man.
U.S.A here
this song is incredibly nostalgic but for some reason in my memories I hear it being sung by a woman
>>64787316
not enough layers of irony in this post, try harder
If they suddenly died, how would you react?
I would laugh then fart.
would they become Avey and the Phantoms?
>>64787275
I would be quite sad.
I never noticed that fire in the background of that picture. Did Panda set fire to another refugee centre?
man try say they better than me
>muh brit-hop
FUCK OFF WITH THIS MEME TIER GARBAGE
>>64787257

Bottomless Pit is a good album, I agree.
Like holy shit this might actually be the OK computer of the 2000s critically speaking.
>>64787088
Bottomless Pit fully earned those scores.
