fuck this is really good though. the breaks fit in very well with the ambiance. i guess if there's anything to say, the ambient itself felt kind of predictable, but other than that, this is more or less studio quality.
So, I want to get into death metal, but the avenues I've taken so far have been mostly shit. I like [pic related], but I haven't found anything else that really clicked for me. I dig a lot of black metal, and I'm just looking for something that digs a bit deeper than just "kill, death, blood". Can /mu/ offer anything a little more cerebral, or is this genre mostly just shit? It doesn't even have to be super complex, but at the very least more complex than a polished Chris Barnes.

Check Behemoth. Also check technical death. Origin and the like.

I've found Black Metal to be a bit deeper than Death Metal
Not a huge fan of either. Just Burzum really. Ruins of Beverest when i have road rage .

>a fucking 2012 meme
pretty sure that was 2010
Hate to tell you this, but not everyone who uses the internet gives shit about the viral pheoms that go on.
Can somebody explain this shitty meme to me?
No meme, just a solid left-field country album that a few spammers latched onto and it got out of hand. This was big in chart threads for a while but /mu/ couldn't handle it.
You're thinking about it too much.
It's good, trust me.
The meme, that is. Haven't listened to the album.
Is this the most objectively perfect thing to ever come out of rock music?
first track is nice
rest is pretty meh
try listening to more music
I GET UP
