I'm looking for a band/musician that has really whacky and bizzare lyrics like NMH or mid 60s Bob Dylan or something

Nylons on
Side bitches don’t
Your table through my
My body through your
Three bedrooms in a good neighborhood
On fire like a margarita made out of wood
She got solar panels for thirty cents a watt
In the future, there’s a party from the past, she’s a cop
I really love DG, but their lyrics are a bit strange at times

3x3 thread for May?
Nice.
How's everyone's month been?
On another note, what does /mu/ think of Spotify? I get the premium service free with my phone plan and I've been using it for years now, I don't think I have any complainants whatsoever honestly. I really dig the socialish aspect where I get to psychoanalyze and judge people that I follow whether they be people I've met in real life who are listening to the 1975 or nerds like you reading this listening to Sigur Ros and Death Grips. Follow me and let me know that you have so I can follow...
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
bump ~_~
idk I never used spotify
May was average

stop that
these threads are always dead as fuck at this time
Kyary thread.
What the actual fuck went wrong?
Is that her? She looks like a normal person now!
>>65147664
can you please delete this?
>went from nerdy ass looking bitch with no friends and bullied
>became a well beloved j-popstar
>popularity falls
>this is what she looks like now
How long until her JAV debut?
how retarded do you have to be to actually enjoy pop music? it's literally made only to appeal to the lowest common denominators of society and to generate maximum profits without any regard for artistic integrity.
so what
Pop music=
>popular music, everything but classical and folk
>top 40 pop music
>the genre of pop music which has quite a bit of variety
There really needs to be separate terms for these 3.
>>65147689
I'm talking about shit like Justin Beiber, Adele, and Taylor Swift. Kids my age will never appreciate real music like Swans or Autechre
What's the best version of this CD to buy?
I've never bought a CD but I thought I'd get this since it's apparently amazing.
There's a lot of versions on the store, not sure which to buy
Also, I heard something like one of the songs stops halfway and you need to swap CD's? Is this true?
Thanks
wow what a terrible fucking thread.
>>65147582
Well now it is.
>>65147582
well i don't know what the website means
Is this guy's opinion still relevant? I like NG, I constantly read about him shitting on other's music, and I'm a big Oasis fan but I'd like to know your thoughts.
>>65147425
Hes pretty funny tho
Go away Montie
I don't think's anyone's opinion is "relevant". But not really, he just sticks to criticising people and somehow turning that into "criticism" of their music, which just makes him kind of a prick.
>plebs think touched shouldn't be on the album
fucking plens
>>65147278
Lol. The only good song on here is only shallow. I guess I haven't listened to most of the album though.
>>65147322
Then your opinion is useless.
Diversify this shithole. Post an album you've liked recently that doesn't get posted about on /mu/ very often.
Because one thread spamming album covers really changes that, right.
>>65147261
Yes...?
More albums with bad guitar playing?
I'll wait until you start.

So I love death metal, especially old school, but I've listened to Left Hand Path around 10 times and I still don't get why people love it so much. Am I alone? Or do I just keep trying?
is it just me, or do other anons tend to not post in a soundcloud thread after 50 or so replies? i feel like my stuff just gets ignored because there's too much.
>>65147088
soundcloud.com
>>65147088
no shit that's what happens.
people are lazy
I'd say anything caught in the middle gets ignored aftr the thread gets large.
He's not pointing at us...
But I mean, I don't think it counts if Rollins has spent his entire career admitting he had zero part in Black Flag's sound.
>>65147107
even so, the early rollins band albums are pretty great
I've rarely been as affected by someone's music as Nujabes' or 'Seba-san'.
I think it's the general underlying theme of universal flow but distinct manifestations that pervades all of his works. What does /mu/ think?
I'll post all of my favorite works from this great artist below.
General discussion/critique/appreciation encouraged.
I really haven't seen /mu/ discuss it much
But I agree, his music fucking hits home for me, one of the few artists that can completely switch my mood around and center me, and make me feel like I wanna be a more sensitive and centered individual
First, one of his most critically acclaimed works. Shing02 killed it with the lyrics, and 'the beat and the melody' elevate Luv (Sic) to the highest spheres of music for me.

Windspeaks is a personal favourite. People might disagree, and they should as the simplicity of the song is quite polarizing imo, but regardless, it is worth a listen. (Ten for me. :) )
