Why does /mu/ hate this again?
it's literally made only to appeal to the lowest common denominators of society and to generate maximum profits without any regard for artistic integrity
>>65152290
artistic integrity is gay

You don't get autistic; you're born autistic.
>>65151905
But if you go back to college dropout and late registration you don't hear any autism at all

Is that H.P. Baxxter?
his lyrics were always too avant-garde for me, I never really got them.
> praise him til you've forgotten what you're praising him for
There is no such thing as challenging, difficult, or deep music. I find it just as easy to listen to a Schoenberg or a Merzbow as I do contemporary pop music.
If you've ever found a song to be a challenging experience, you're a weirdo. You don't understand music. I can't think of a more accessible art form than music. There's nothing complex about it at all. It's quite literally the only good thing thing humans have made.
You artless sell-outs with your "2 deep 4 you" and your "pleb" and your "normie"

Steel Panther make good songs but they're posers.

Steel Panther is pretty gnarly from a comedic standpoint and Satchel is a fucking amazing guitarist imo
But they wear wigs so 0/10

I mostly listen to Bowie and Modest Mouse, although I sometimes listen to Death Cab for Cutie, Neutral Milk Hotel, early Weezer, and early Greenday

Diamond Dogs
Young Americans
Am I pleb for thinking this is his best album?
Yes, its by far his least interesting album.
Selected Ambient Works vol 1 is his best.

I like to think these are judged in respect to their genres.
it's good that's why
Heard a little from Nick Cave and looking to get into it more. What's some of the best of his/theirs?
>>65150400
Let Love In or Tender Prey are good starting points. Go back in time if you want darker, noisier stuff, and forward in time if you want more ballads.
You could also just start from their first album and then go chronologically. Their 80s stuff is their best imo.
>>65150400
I think you should just start off with his debut, to show how creative he is. Once you listen to that you can listen any of his other albums cause his debut is most inaccessible and alienating.
>>65150425
this is good advice.
I personally like his ballad work more so i'm reccing you The Boatman's Call
