Why haven't you accepted that this is the greatest album of all time?
Life and How to Live It is the greatest song ever written. Great melody, lyrics even Bob Dylan would have been proud of, and the sound is just spectacular

The album that came before and after that one in their discog is better. Still one of the best albums of the 80s though.
>>65156459
Lifes Rich Pageant is their weakest IRS album. Reckoning is slightly below Murmur and Fables, though I can see why someone would prefer it.
Any Police fans on /mu/?
Can anyone name a better three-piece band? I don't think so.
dad rock?
It's bizarre how little impact they seem to have made.
Can you think of any other band that sounds like that? I don't think they fit in with new wave at all, too arty for alt rock, and way too pop for prog.
>>65155759
yeah i consider them a pop/rock band.
best three piece ever i think. one of the best bands ever

12-track chillwave album with elements of progressive rock, jazz and trip-hop. Has various guest vocalists, bass guitar, electric guitar, live and electronic drums, samples and shit tons of reverb and delay plugins. Going to release on bandcamp in July.

Doesn't sound like I'd like it at all but I'd still give it a shot
>>65155192
Sounds something like Laika or Bowery Electric, would listen

Same to what this guy said except I believe it has the potential to be good

Hopefully she's quitting life as well.

Why does noise music, which is supposedly totally built on the foundation of total radicalism and freedom and invidivualism, all sound the same?
Why are noise fans so pretentious yet so incapable of explaining what the merit of noise music is?
Is noise music a scam exploiting gullible idiots desperate to be seen as being into something "radical"?
Is noise music for losers?
Is noise music for ex-metalheads who now want to look intelligent but still can't let go of bonheaded "extremism" in sound and imagery?
here's your reply before this thread reaches 100+

need something with a consistent and audible rhythm
Beatles - I've just seen a face
Queens of the Stone Age and Run The Jewels are only good for those purposes, they know how to keep the pace
what is this new thing everyone is talking about now? drake is all over it but to me it sounds like trap with an english accent
That's literally what it is

yes and IT AINT SAFE.
Hello /mu/
Never been here before but I'd like if you guys could hit me up with some underground bands and artists. The more depressive it is the better.
Vaporwavish styles would be cool.

I mean, both artists are pretty famous.
Prince is still a 10/10 tho.
ITT: Change the track listing to an album n we rate.

Burn the witch needs to be at the start I reckon, it would feel too jarringly inconsistent anywhere else. I think the alphabetical tracklisting works best though.

Eh? I mean if you insisted on changing something I might move tinker tailor after glass eyes, but really it all flows pretty well.

Sounds like primal scream to me but the dates off
Today we are taking jams and cutting them up and slowing them down and repeating them.
Basically we're making stuff that sounds like this
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=unN7QvSWSTo
Don't worry too much about getting the specific effects rights to make it sound exactly like eccojams, just make sure it repeats itself a lot and samples an existing song.
It's going to be a bit different in that there's no rolling for track names, album names, etc.
Instead, the tracks will be named A1, B5, etc.
Artist and album name are going to...

You can make claims if you want, but it's not like there's a title to revolve your track around.

I made another cover last night but it might not fit Eccojams. Up to you OP.
