What's the druggiest album ever?
Pic related
>The Perfect Prescription is the second studio album by Spacemen 3. It is a concept album, "a vision of a drug trip from inception to its blasted conclusion, highs and lows fully intact."[2]
Can I get some recs like that?

Here's another
>The album was recorded at United Sound Studios, Audio Graphic Services, and G-M Recording Studios in Detroit.[4] The inspiration for this album was, according to George Clinton, an attempt to "see if we can cut a whole album while we're all tripping on acid."[3]

>In June 1972, Black Sabbath reconvened in Los Angeles to begin work on their fourth album at the Record Plant Studios. The recording process was plagued with problems, many due to substance abuse issues. In the studio, the band regularly had large speaker boxes full of cocaine delivered.[1] While struggling to record the song "Cornucopia" after "sitting in the middle of the room, just doing drugs",[2]

Mac Demarco is actually pretty funny, too bad his music is mediocre as fuck
I have come to a recent problem, how do I make music without causing a headache? Is there a specific program that prevents the music from causing a headache or fixes a song which causes a headache? please help.

Oh shit
I must say, it's truly disheartening to see so many who don’t realize how game changing this EP is. Sure the first track, Rival Dealer, starts off like a typical Burial track with ambience and spoken word samples, but then the beats kick in and something revolutionary happens. Honestly, it’s like Burial has created some sort of new genre on this song, like “speed dubstep” or something. On “Hiders”, Burial crafts a sort of futuristic, ambient, uplifting RnB influenced style which already sounds ahead of it’s time. Then, we get to the closing track, “Come...

Now that the dust has settled, can we agree that this is by far Burial's worst release ever?
10/10 EP. What the fuck is even this genre?
its my least favorite burial release by far
title track is pretty good tho
Car Seat Headrest is better than I expected.
Hmmm.
Now i'm surprised.
Any lo-fi recs?
lo-fi is not a genre
and i don't mean this in the "indie is not a genre" sense

Does /mu/ have an adequate enough amount of people that like improvisational music to have a thread about it?
If so, then cool.
Let's talk about it
free improvisational music
apart from Derek Bailey taking his guitar apart with a screwdriver, free music does to me fall into types
I think it's a bit of a misnomer
a player can't free themselves of music
>>65163596
I definitely agree. I guess it's one of those terms I use (like 'emo') for music genres where I think the title really generalizes the style of music to an outsiders view of it. Are you not a fan of the music itself or were you just opposing the phrase 'free music'?

>t. Are you not a fan of the music itself or were you just opposing the phrase 'free music'?
I'm a huge fan,
but in my own playing I find when I play 'free' it's definitely a style, and it does get tiring after a while
Comparing The Shape of Jazz to later Coleman albums, not having an underlying motif is not as pleasing
totally unstructured playing works best solo , see Roscoe Mitchell
or it needs very sympathetic players

Should definitely be higher.
It's aoty.
Although I agree that p4k shouldn't be taken seriously, I hope you at least listened to the album yourself and formed your own opinion before making this thread. That is all. Have a nice day.
