The scene: After finally admitting their feelings for each other, this is their final goodbye, one of them is not coming home.
I need some Beautiful, sad music.
What are some other bands that incorporate elements of absurdism into their music?
What music do people with real depression listen to? I'm not talk about your average pseudo-depressed Radiohead / Nirvana / Boards of Canada listeners, but rather people who are clinically depressed, who are enough harm to themselves to be admitted to a psychiatric ward.
Are you ready for the let down of the decade?
Post the last 5 albums you listened to, rate, guess personalities, etc. You know what to do.
>Brand New - Deja Entendu
>Modest Mouse - The Lonesome Crowded West
>The Replacements - Tim
>The Magnolia Electric Co. - The Magnolia Electric Co.
>Elliott Smith - Elliott Smith
Post your headphones
I'm 20 and I have no idea who I am or how to create an identity.
Music for this feel?
>favorite album when you want to confirm patrician status
>only listen to In The Court of the Crimson King through Discipline
I don't think this man has ever smiled in his life.
Does anyone have a mega or dropbox of this? its not in the /mu/ discog thing
How is /mu/ not praising this album but instead rather praise Sgt Pepper And Pet Sounds?
White Light/White Heat is much better then those two albums.
Sister Ray alone is comparable to the likes of John Coltrane and Beethoven.
>when a title track isn't the first song of an album
>album has one song
>isn't the same name as the album
Quick question: What is your least favourite track on this and WHY? I've heard vastly varying responses on this and I'm curious as to which one is the least liked.
I've also made a strawpoll to expedite things and gather the data: http://www.strawpoll.me/10311759
My least favourite is probably Fan's Lament. A lot of people say specific tracks ruin the flow and tone of the album, but this is the only one that does that for me. The repeating guitar riffs sound so happy and even have some sort of "country" sound to them. An improper followup to YRP.
is hip hop the realest form of music is the question
