ITT: Underrated albums
Even if you think this is GY!BEs worse album, you can't deny it's still a great album, I personally love ADBA, and I think they are equal - and the drone parts on Asunder are even better IMO.
The trilogy is generally praised, but this one is considered by many the least good while I think it's the best one (especially for tripping)

My obsession with Lauren Mayberry has become debilitating. I usually enjoy crying, it makes me feel better. But this morning, I started crying because I was thinking about how I'll never be with her and the tears would not stop flowing. I finally had to get drunk to make it stop. I don't know what I'll do if this becomes a regular occurrence.
Well, I've never seen /mu/ talk about it. What does /mu/ thinks about "Ego Death"? I think it is actually a really good album. "Palace/Curse" for me is the best track.

Yeah I'm aware, but I feel like only a few go as extreme as the two I listed and it feels like some (Macross comes to mind) are moving further away from that aesthetic as time goes on.

vaporwave's not a subculture, and if anything the music was made as an afterthought to a trend that started with Everything is Awful and Tim&Eric sketches, and eventually developed into "aesthetic blogs", and THEN people latched onto what Daniel Lopatin and Skeleton were doing. There's no "vaporwave lifestyle" or "vaporwave values" or "vaporwave uniform".
Cloud rap does, with the whole "sadboys" thing, and you could argue that vaporwave listeners...
