Architects - All our gods have abandoned us
its pretty good.
Spanish is a more beautiful language to listen to than French
Never forget
I don't know about that but it's certainly superior to English. Listening to this right now, she's singing about me btw

I don't really like either of them. Though I doubt anyone cares about my opinion since German and Russian are my two favorite languages to listen to music in besides English.

Favorite black metal albums thread?
As soon as I'm done going through Morbid Angel's discography I'm taking my first plunge into Black Metal.
Wish me luck anons.
>>65242716
same
I'm mainly doing it to try out new genres and further from my past plebeian self
why is this so fucking bad
I don't know, you tell us.
>>65242480
I'd actually really like to hear your reasoning for thinking this. RAM is probably the best Daft Punk album period. Yes, even better than Homework and Discovery, in my honest opinion.
>>65242480
Motherboard alone is one of the best tracks ever made fuck you.
Only weak tracks on RAM are:
>Game of Love
>Within
>Instant Crush
>Fragments of Time
Why is Disco "gay" music? because it was played at nightclubs?
because a lot of the people who made it and enjoyed it were gay or atleast sucked 2 dicks in a platonic way as a product of the times
>>65242485
platonic
>>65242437
Because the music style isn't "conventionally" "masculine"
Neither is homosexuality
Put them together
So I just got some Dr. Dre Beats for my birthday. What should I do with them? I've heard they're pretty shitty and I'm thinking of selling them to some black kid on craigslist for $200 but I want to know what you guys think.
>selling them to some black kid on craigslist for $200
really what other option is there
>>65242433
i do actually need a new pair of headphones
normally i'd sell them but my sennheiser's just broke and i'm desperate and i figure beats can't be that bad besides the price
>>65242420
You could get better ones with the $200 you'll get from that black kid, I'd argue you could get more.
What group was the most "most ahead of their time" of all time?
that's easy

I guarantee tons of atonal sounding shit was written back then, but none of it survived.
This probably did because the dude studied under some major names.

Cromagnon's generally brought up in threads like this
Ringo Starr is is most responsible for the Beatles iconic sound.
Prove me wrong.
if thats true why didnt he have the most successful solo career?
He is the most boring member, and The Beatles are pretty boring.
You may be on to something.
John Lennon is the least responsible for the Beatles sound.
Prove me wrong

I'm righting a essay on music authenticity (having no experience or music knowledge in any way. FML) and was wondering how you guys determine whether a band, group or individuals music would be consisted authentic?
Well for me I'm often reminded of other things I've heard when listening to music. So if music presents some idea that I've never heard, I think, "Wow, that's original".
Whether or not you think something is authentic is relative to what you've heard. For example, you could say, "Wow, the Black Keys are really authentic", but if you've never heard the White Stripes, you wouldn't know that TBK leeched their sound from WS.
Most bands draw from music that they've heard and liked, so I don't think most...

quality response! I'll use the black keys/white stripes as a point of reference thank you. but on the concept of covers? would you consider a band that covers another but in a different genre to be inauthentic? Say an R&B artist performing a R&B version of a elton john song
Of courses not being the original song writer puts it on the side of inauthentic but with a sufficient change in genre and the relevant expectation that come with that genre would it side on the more authentic side of music?
But does OP have a trunk fulla amps?
