What's your #1 certified way to tell if a band is over-rated trash?
Mine is searching up a torrent and discovering all of the high seeded ones are in the placebo 50MB-a-song tier file format

What's pathetic isn't your ignorance, it's your pride in it.

What exactly is it that makes this album a 'psychedelic' classic?
I just can't hear it. Not for the life of me. It's not bad, don't get me wrong, but there's not a single sustained note, no reverb, no delay, no vibrato guitar licks, no organs or even anything resembling or coming close to sounding like a psychedelic experience.
Is it just me, or is there some kind of weird need to label everything put out in the late sixties as psychedelic?
>>65305384
it's great and i love it, therefore it's psychedelic.
>>65305384
Anything experimental in the 60s gets labeled psychedelic for some reason
>drug-influenced paranoid lyrics
>rooted in folk
>~exotic~ flavors like the horn part in the opener
Bandcamp thread: last one died.
Feedback, rec, comment, all that typical stuff. Go for it.

> industrial hip-hop instrumentals, thick dirty glitches, beats, and ugly samples (samples vary from Satyajit Ray's Apu Trilogy OST to bad James Blunt songs), influenced by artists such as Death Grips, Clipping, Sutcliffe Jugend, Ben Frost, Haxan Cloak, etc.
Currently working on a third album while also editing a video for a new track. Shall be uploading it sometime next week, hopefully. Thank you for having a listen.

Hardly a btfo when he uses the "imho" expression there.
Is he finally learning that he isn't a god and everything he says is just a opinion?

yes anon, so long as you don't qualify your sentence with 'imo' you must not think it's an opinion. great thinking, imo.

What are the ultimate 'Nam-era songs, to feel like you're rolling over the Mekong Delta in a Huey, burning your draft card, lighting up at Woodstock, or getting some sweet relief from a hooker in a Saigon whorehouse or bedding a funky black soul sister with an afro and hoop earrings?

BORN DOWN IN A DEAD MAN'S TOWN
Friendly reminder that basing your opinion of hip-hop/rap on what's mainstream and popular is the same as saying that all rock music is like Nickelback (or whoever) and that all country is like Blake Shelton (or whoever). It's subjective and wrong. Not a racebait thread but we can have fun with that too if you'd like.
I don't. All rap is shit.
>>65304923
What do you think of punk and post-punk?
as someone who has listened to over 100 hip-hop releases, i can confidently say it's a lower artform with very few gems
