Yo I listened to the first volume of the Hugo Masters comp. Very fine stuff there. Thanks for reccing it. 3 more volumes to go.
Could anyone recommend me some more like this?
Vaporwave with Hip-Hop sampled on top...
This album uses G-Funk samples and it's gorgeous
Okay Last bump
>>65323927
Wait anon what's the album
>>65323927
I'm not sure exactly what you mean but if you want a sort of hip-hop vaporwave vibe vaperror makes decent vaporwave trap
I realise everyone gets high differently but when I'm high, 90% of the time I'm in a very philosophical (annoying) extremely good, very relaxed mood.
Anyway I've tried and can't stand the "entry level" high artists/albums. I absolutely cannot stand 60s psychedelic rock because it is too chaotic and unpredictable most of the time. Same goes for progressive rock and free/improv/modal jazz or jazz fusion of any sort. When I'm high I want to do absolutely nothing, listen to tunes, eat junk food and discuss pretentious philosophy. I find it hard to be patient to wait for a buildup, climactic finish, progression, multiple guitar tones etc.
As a result I want something sorta immediate, simple and maybe heavily layered. Therefore my go to high artists are The Weeknd, Mac DeMarco and maybe A$AP Rocky off the top of my head.
>listening to pic related while high atm and it's *fucking* great

YO THIS GENRE SUCKS
>>65323644
Well this is /mu/, most listen to what albums for a genre are on the essentials or played on the radio and thats it and base it off them only.
I dont get it, pls explain to me whats so musically good about this niggers band
Not OP, but bumping. Also curious to know what makes them so "hype". Heard some things about the fact that it's so "avant garde" and destructured hip hop thing, but i can't be just that.
Probably because their diy ethic and cutting out the middle man by connecting with fans directly through the internet. The music is forward thinking by rejecting genres and fads, not by being virtuoso musicians or any objective quality. They embrace aggressive sounds but still let hints of humor and awkwardness that is too human and flawed to market like some gloomy, melancholy, humorless post punk or dream pop. It never gets out of hand like zappas preachiness or ween's desensitizing silliness but it deters too cool for school avant teens from giving it a fair listen....

Listen, you don't have to like every artist or band this shitty board tells you to. You like it or you don't. For me personally, at first, I found them unpleasant to listen to. Just look in the comments of Guillotine (most popular video) which has become a meme in itself. It has so many views but the comments show that most people think the song is abrasive garbage, with questions like 'Do people unironically listen to these guys?' throw around and others bragging that they do unironically listen...

I got new headphones today and would like to test them out. What are some god-tier sound quality albums to do so?
any genre is fine
let's keep it patrician tho
>pic related
>>65323485
Anything will sound better on them but try out some holly herndon - platform
Godspeed you black emperor - lysflath
fishmans - long season
Verneri pohjola - bullhorn
Nicolas Jaar - space is only noise
Tom waits - swordfishtrombones
Björk - homogenic
I know they're all pretty standard stuff but they are the ones I remember enjoying more after buying better headphones
Death Magnetic

Isn't every album recorded in the United States of America, and everywhere else in the New World since recording technology isn't that old, post-Colombian music?

After listening to the discography again, I think pic related is the best album Kanye has done.
I really like Late Registration. It has so many good moments, and the skits are pretty good.
Thoughts on LR?
It's his worst
I agree. I guess I can't explain it to well, but the album just has this comfy quality to me. The production is so damn smooth on We Major and Celebration and Heard Em Say. Kanye spits the best verse of his career on Gone too, and Roses is just great. Fucking love this thing.
Its... hmm. His most balanced album I guess. College dropout was kinda rough at some point, Graduation / 808 are just.. good but not great.
MBDTF was fucking great, but it got some over-the-top stuffs.
Yeezus/TLOP was all about over the top stuff.
So I kinda respect your opinion. :3
Who is the best rapper ? For me it's Eminem
Jay Electronica... if he EVER RELEASES SOMETHING.
Or I'll just go with Kendrick Lamar.
Ever? Hard to say. Eminem is top 5 for sure.
mac dre
Are there any good albums about being NEET / hikki and having depression?
I'm seriously asking by the way, not trying to be off-topic.

Lick hairy armpit
It's time for us as a society to acknowledge that making women shave their pits was a pretty big mistake, and that women with hairy pits are objectively more attractive than women without.
