Are you hyped?
>>65362633
I'm hyped, it's probably going to be the most depressing album of his entire career.
>>65362676
Yeah that's what I was thinking. I'm very sorry about his loss but this tragedy made me so excited about his future album.
Nervous tbfrank.
Do you still love Chvrches?

BCN Dub is best track
What's some essential /gaycore/?
>>65362203
gay as in the artist is gay or as in the music has heavy themes of homosexuality?

/mu/ thoughts on Centipede Hz?
Feel like it's the least talked about album on here.

Not the best AnCo album, but it's still a solid 7/10 for me. Some of the songs feel very phoned-in. But Amanita and Pulleys are fantastic (even better live though, check out Live @ 9:30, it's really something)
The acoustic version of Wide Eyed is much better than the album version.
It's a pretty great album, but some songs are just forgettable. Although desu I like playing Rosie Oh on my acoustic and singing like Panda Bear.
I still can't decide whether it's better or worse than PW (which I also though was about a 7/10, not their best but still great). They're pretty different in execution.
I really hope that they change the formula for the next album, and Deak comes back and they let him be a part of the writing process. He showed some serious chops on Sleep Cycle.

Im 4 tracks in and i'm loving it. I've only got two AnCo albums left, CHZ and PW, and so far CHZ is up there for me.
It's not as groundbreaking as STGSTV sure but, damn it's enjoyable to listen to.
>>65362185
it's a really difficult album for me to talk about. i've actually listened to it more in the last 6 months than the last 4 years combined, and there's admittedly a fair amount to like about it, and yet there's something so deeply, unsettlingly morose and, dare i say it, bland behind the whole affair that i can't bring myself to seriously recommend it to anyone but the most diehard AC fans.
the strongest point for me is no doubt the lyrics, which make the physical release worth buying,...

The beginning to the jack white video belongs in a cringe thread
>implying there have been any decent releases in 2016 so far
Frankie Cosmos new album was pretty good
The Life of Pablo isn't decent, it's the best album of the past 2 years
please take a look at this funny picture
How does /mu/ feel about Pantera? I have browsed through all the essentials charts and haven't found a single Pantera record.
Is it too mainstream for /mu/? Is groove metal a genre that is not appreciated around here?
Is Pantera too old for /mu/gsters to appreciated, yet not achieved legendary status like older bands?
>>65362076
Vulgar Display is a great album, never listened to anything else tho aside from obvious singles like Cemetery Gates
man I remember when my mom would blast cowboys from hell when I was little
>>65362076
Nu-males of /mu/ would never understand Pantera

So you have a chance to hear ``Floods'' for the very first time. I suggest you do that, you won't be disappointed. Pic related.
A genie in the lamp concedes you one wish. "Show me the most perfect music that exists", you reply. What song does he play?
