This stuff is what I adore about photography and art: Beautiful landscapes or interesting structures with people rather not being the focus (except fanart, there characters may be just as important or more so). It gives me the feels and I could look at it for ages.

I've not really visited this thread in the past, but I appreciate it every time I see it, and I always think that one day, I'll take some time and build a collection of this artwork while trying not to drown in feels.

If I ever manage to find time for and git gud at art, this is the kind of stuff I want to draw.

What is it about landscapes that makes me feel so melancholic in a good way?

Guess it depends on the way your brains work. For example, mine uses to associate places to concepts. So basically, when I was still in uni, studying was a matter of putting images of places linked to concepts in a row.
