I have two ways to bring him back
Anon escapes with help from someone who feels bad

The boys and Arthas come and break him out before bringing him home

That's only if Celestia can read chaos magic the same way Eris and Discord can. I'm in favor of following the "chaos magic is very different than uni/alicorn magic" trope. If it wasn't then Umbra could've theoretically traced Discord's magic back to Equestria, but since the idea of tracing itself wasn't proposed by anyone other than Eris during the meeting of the captains, I'm going to assume that the two magics are different and that Umbra nor any other unicorn could trace chaos magic. Either way the location is already in jeopardy since Discord can just tell Celestia.
