So it did end up working out that Starlight Glimmer moved into the Ponyville castle. It's a good move - it's a really big place for just two full-time occupants, and the role she's accepted with as Twilight's student means it's a good idea for her to be close by anyway. Glimmer and Sunset are their heavy artillery
Rarity is the face of the group and in charge of more subtle missions

-The beard
-The markings
I know both are canon in the show, but they just felt off with him.
I get the beard was going for a stereotypical Wizard thing. But it fell flat.
I don't have an excuse for the markings, but they were too symmetrical. Should have been like Pipsqueak and had splotches.

I think Sunburst was pretty cute. It made want to get to know him more and I kind of wish the episode focused more on the renewed friendship between Starlight and Sunburst. Those scenes together, particularly the last few were actually kind of touching. Starlight is filled with regret and shame and poor Sunburst is embarrassed about what Starlight will think of him being a failure as a wizard. It was really sweet.
