Last time, Dandy and pals made it to the power core, where Günther set to work on a way to restore power to the facility. While Günther worked, Dandy took note of steam issuing from a leaky pipe, which some fucking idiot told him to stick his hoof into. After reporting the possible danger to Günther, the griffon decided it might be prudent to fix the leak. But when he asked Dandy where the pipe was, Dandy's already-foul mood suddenly got worse and worse...

The frustrated look on Günther's face gives way to concern as Dandy's scowl deepens and his eyes adopt an unnatural blue glow. "Oh, catbird Christ, what's wrong now, colt?" he asks uncertainly.
"He's freaking out again!" Reed interjects, taking a cautious step back. "I told you we couldn't trust him!"

And then Reed becomes intimately acquainted with the turbine Günther had been dismantling.
"Whoa, WHOA!" Günther squawks, grabbing Dandy around his neck and chest. "Take it easy, bro!"
>'He doesn't trust me either! After all the shit I've done for these cretins, and they just see me as a freak! A looney! I'll show all of them!'
Dandy neighs with fury and flails his hooves. His wings try to beat against Günther like feathery cats-o-nine-tails, and steam spills from his ears and nostrils as he thrashes his head around.

Dandy shakes his head.

"What?" Günther asks, unable to hear Dandy over the beating of wings and the slaps of hooves against his body.
"I think he said 'the steam.'" Foozle responds softly. She has a hurt, conflicted look in her eyes, like she wants to comfort Dandy but she's afraid of what he might do. "He must have breathed in something poisonous. A hallucinogen, maybe."
"So we're all going to wind up like this?" Günther answers, realization dawning on his face. "Shit... I gotta fix it!"
"Do you have a mask?" Foozle asks uncertainly.
"Yeah, but what about him?" Günther nods at Dandy, who's still flailing wildly.

Dandy, just eat some pizza. I've found that food is helpful when you are angry. If anything, it will keep you from punching Foozle long enough to fix this.

For a few moments there, Dandy's body almost felt like it was beyond his control.

Slowly, his thrashing begins to weaken.
"Leave him here." Foozle says to Günther. The griffon gives her a skeptical look.
"Are you sure?" he asks.
"Yes." the meek unicorn replies, her horn glowing softly. "I'll be okay. Trust me. You need to fix that pipe or we'll all be in danger."
Günther isn't quite convinced, but he nods.
"Alright." he relents, letting go of Dandy and leaping into the air."I'll be back as quick as I can."
Dandy drops to all fours, still seeing red but lucid enough to not continue thrashing. Much.

Blood still pounding behind his eyes, Dandy stares at Foozle, who returns his gaze (less aggressively, of course) from Reed's side for a few seconds before instinctively looking away. Her horn is glowing softly in the dimness of the dark core, but her magic isn't focused on any one thing.
"If there's anything I can do to help," she says, choosing her words carefully, "please just tell me, Doctor Pomp."

Suddenly, Dandy feels something like an ice-cold needle stabbing something in his brain.

Foozle looks up from the unconscious Reed's side, a look of worry on her face. "Doctor Pomp?! What's wrong? Are you in pain?!"

Dandy slumps to his knees, his body shaking as it is wracked by what feels like the worst brain freeze imaginable.
"Dandy!!" Foozle gasps, stepping towards him. "Where does it hurt?"
>"BRAIN... COLD... HURTS..."
Foozle crouches down beside Dandy, inspecting him for injuries.
"I don't see any signs of a physical injury!" she says. "Let me see your eyes."
Dandy forces an eye open, showing Foozle that same solid blue color that Günther saw. She seems perplexed. "I, um..." she stutters, searching her pockets. After a moment, she produces a small vial with a stylized letter 'A' on it. "Here, Dandy." she says. "Drink this. It can heal any injury."
Dandy opens his mouth and lets Foozle pour the light blue fluid onto his tongue. He swallows it down greedily and chomps his teeth shut again. Several moments pass. Foozle's face falls as the pained expression on Dandy's face persists.
