SGaP's recent charade depressed me. He's one of my favorite artists, but seeing someone never accept any sort of praise and beat themselves into the ground for their work is hard. And then, the climax of his career is that he announces a restart by taking his old persona out back and shooting it? Oh yeah, forgot to actually answer your question. I heard it from another musician in the fandom, who was apparently in contact with pinkiepieswear fairly recently. It's possible it's bullshit he made up, but it's pretty plausible.

I've been doing some investigative journalism and I've been trying to locate people from the earlier days of the fandom. In some cases, yes, that's what I did, but there were some real wildcards with some really interesting leads that I will certainly be looking into.
