There is though. It provides a way to be intimate with people who create for the "fandom", unlike the major sites that archive said material. Fimfiction, Derpibooru, and everyone else may hold better content, and tumblr may put many artist on display for discorse, but 4chan helps lower everything down and really make you feel like you arent wasting your time. As long as you remember that you are here because you like mlp, and not the fandom, as I did when I got sucked into the analysis shit when it first started, then you wont regret a day.
