Last time was 2012. Technically all of the panel recordings since then have been by people breaking the rules. This year there is absolutely zero tolerance for recording the trailers at the panel from what I've been told. There are many things they could have the others decide to do in life; ESPECIALLY with aj who's more or less a blank slate-- The IDW comics for example did a very good Mayor mare/AJ comic that brought up the point that AJ is Drastically over qualified for what she's currently doing in life, and laid down several logical reasons for why she might someday want to leave her farm and do something else in life.
