Does not what "beyond" mean. They may or may not invest in it further depending on the profit/loss after the movie. That's the point of P&L. Hasbro not going to invest more seasons if the sales and popularity is no longer there. The movie will become the finale test of how big is the FiM community and if it's worth to expand it or simply kill it like Jem.

Don't get me wrong, as long as you like it you shouldn't let other people's opinion change your mind, but "no matter what" is imo what's ruining the show. If there are hardcore fans who will defend the show "no matter what", the writers and the show staff have no reason to try to do something good. "People will like it anyway, well, fuck it, write some shit and that will be enough."
I mean, I'm not blaming *you*, this is mostly EQD's fault. But saying you'll love the show no matter what is almost as negative as those who hate everything. Positive criticism isn't just acceptable, it's absolutely necessary.

I didn't mean that I blindly love every single episode and refuse to accept people's criticism on them. I admit that there are some bad episodes this season (Applejack's Day Off, Gift of Maud Pie), and whenever they do happen, I also rant about them with other anons. But I'm not going to let a few shitty episodes influence my opinion on overall season too much. I would probably stop watching it if it did get REALLY bad, but I just don't see that happening very soon.
