Graphs show the fandom population hasn't actually declined too much at all. people just stopped being dummies over it and it fell out of sight as a lot of people moved on and the people who change avatars for the most part switched up.
Because Fox news isn't giving us free advertising by telling everyone how deviant it is that grown men watch MLP ever since Fox realized people stopped giving a shit in 2014. Lauren Faust leaving, say what you want about her writing but the show had more a direction and identity with her. Now while the new seasons are serviceable, Hasbro just kinda does whatever it wants with it. With only a few legitimately good episodes here and there. 1. We were never big. Minecraft instead persisted endlessly on youtube with fresh OC.
2. Season 1 was a mediocrity. Faust left. Hasbro/The Hub stopped giving a fuck. The newsfeed also stopped giving a fuck.
Pony was only viral back in 2011, it stopped completely in 2012-2013. 2014 was a bland year. 2013 was more of a closure year with Double Rainboom and other OC.
3. All the idiots, observers, morons, complete retards in denial eventually got tired together with the quality fans because of seasons 2+ obnoxiously boring executions with disgustingly cringeworthy humour and autistically entitled characters trying to act like sjw bronies.
4. Most websites are dead and /mlp/ will soon be too. I'm not sure if Equestria Daily will exist in 2 more years.
