>You exit the interrogation room as Gordon brings in the next witness in.
>You’re left to sit on the couch out front, alone with your thoughts about your Dad.
>What if he’s being trafficked right now?
>Was he part of a gang and forgot to do something?
>Did he accidentally kill someone or go into hiding?
>Is it Doc Ock trying to lure you out?
>Questions like these spin around your mind for what seems like hours.
>The worry makes you feel awful, and each possibility that you conjure up makes the bottom of your stomach churn sickeningly.
>Your friends are probably worried sick, too.
>...
>You should talk to one of them to ease off your mind.
>It’d be even better if Spidey was here to make you feel better with those soft yet muscular arms embracing you.
>In fact, you’d even accept a hug from Harvy just about now.
>Realizing Dad isn’t here makes you feel isolated and unprotected, sort of like being abandoned in a theme park with nowhere to go, or similar to a person going to a horror movie by him/herself.
>The vastness of a theater, the darkness surrounding them, and no one to confide with during the scary parts—it’s truthfully horrifying.
>Sheesh, your chest just aches thinking about thanks to your damn anxiety.
>You attempt to distract yourself and begin pulling your phone out of your pocket.
>You need someone right now to makes this feeling of isolation float away, even if just for a minute or two.
>The screen turns on with a list of unanswered calls, voice-mail, snap-chats, and probably some text messages too.
>With a swipe on the device’s screen, you type in your password and proceed to look through your contacts list for whom it is you wish to seek comfort from.
>The list is pretty short; everyone on it you just met recently, and they’re the first people you’ve actually kind of communicated with.
>One name, though...
>Sunset.

>Your spider sense hadn’t gone off when he touched you, but the mockingly gentle gesture angered you more than you had thought.
>It didn’t go off either when he swung these metal extremities along the wall.
>You still managed to jump from the wall in time using your other enhanced senses.
>“Where are you going? We were just about to have fun!”
>While in mid air you wonder why your trusty Spider-Sense™ didn’t warn you about what had clearly been an attack.
>You gesture for elastic string and shoot some webbing up above your opponent, then use the force of having jumped off and gravity to bungee yourself back up to him.
>He swipes up to cut the string, but only averted your path.
>Not even far enough to not counteract it.
>The kick you had planned lost some force through it though, so him-
>He jumps towards you.
>Maybe if you use his own momentum-
>One of the metal legs connects hard with your left ankle.
>A moment later you were... in his arms?
>“I knew you came back! You do love me. Aww...”
>He lands on the building opposite of your starting position.
“You’re a bad habit I’m trying to quit, okay?”
>You easily break free and drop down.
>“No! Baby!”
>The playful banter had a bad aftertaste since his voice was so horrible.
“I gotta be honest with you. It’s not me, it’s you.”
>You grab a hold of the wall yourself just a bit underneath him, far enough outside his reach, with enough time to get away would he decide to drop down himself.
>“Laugh track plays.”
>How do you fight him?
“It’s over, Charlie.”
>“Close up of my sad face, cue Jimmy Ruffin.”
>You take in your surroundings.
>You were already pretty close to the ground, you need to gain altitude.
>He seems to excel at jumping from building to building as a means of transportation.
>These legs of his have a much higher span than yours, so he’d be faster at wall crawling.
>So far... you dropped in altitude and have gotten immobile.
>You need a strategy.

>You’d easily catch up to him if he would decided to go down any street.
>Swinging from a web is much faster than his jumping, so you’d at least not lose him.
>But fighting him?
>He has the appendages advantage on you.
>And he doesn’t really want to fight you, does he?
>No, he swung at you first and your ankle continues to hurt.
>He’s... a menace, worse than you were.
>You never fought a Wonderbolt or the police, even if they hunted you (to a degree).
>You always choose to avoid a fight and escape.
>He’s going down.
>You shoot sticky web to his legs, trying to secure them to the building.
>Next you web on him, and jump to the side, trying to get at least a bit of momentum in your swings.
>“So we skip the sad montage throughout this episodes credits?”
>You see him pulling at the sticking-web trying to get his leg free and lashes out at you with another.
>Again your spider-sense fails to inform you of the source of danger, but you still manage to get a hold of the leg.
“I never stay for the credits.”
>You crawl up his leg to reach him, but he shakes it quickly, forcing you to focus on holding on harder.
>“Then how will you know what superhero movie they are going to tease for next?”
>God, you’re getting dizzy.
>You need to find a way to immobilize these arms.
“Well, obviously I stay for marvel movies.”
>You put some web on the leg you’re holding onto.
“I have them on my calendar until 2019 after all.”
>Then you shoot at the wall and connect the two.
>“You’re a woman of excellent taste, I see...”
>Your heads still spinning while you look at you.
>“I have four of these, you know?”
>He places the leg down and lifts the other two.
>The already webbed in place leg, and the one just now secured form, together with his real legs now the standpoint.
“Aww, we had so much fun and you want to trash talk now?”
>Okay, you got him in place.
>“My apologies.”
>You shoot some more sticky web at the base of his legs.

an elastic string to bounce, and
a sticky stuff to hold stuff together for longer.

>That should slow them down.
>A quick acrobatic jump later you were out of his reach.
>You smile under your mask, even if he couldn’t see it.
“Apology accepted.”
>You won.
>He lowers the metal appendages and tests how much he can still use them.
>At least you think you won.
>“You’re always so understanding.”
>He’s still up for banter.
>You’re not going to let your guard down just yet.
>Sadly you have to do the grown up stuff now.
“I’ll have to take you in.”
>He moves in a position where he can sit on one of the immobile legs.
>Yet he does not respond.
“Cat got... that tongue of yours?”
>“Not quite. It’s just... you stated something I already know.”
>You put your guard down a little.
“Yeah... then... I won, haven’t I? You’re tied down.”
>“And what? The Wonderbolts come, tag and bag me?”
“Come in on your own terms and... seriously, it’ll look better than being a caught super-villain.”
>“Give me a kiss and I’ll come willingly.”
>Wha-?
“A kiss?”
>“With tongue.”
>He wiggles that monster of a tongue at you.
>Ew... ewww.

I was worried about giving Osborn too much dialogue, but I couldn't really think of anything Anon could add to what was essentially a plot and motivation dump, a linking of threads from throughout the story that finally connected
I hadn't really teased much of Oscorp's involvement before this, which I really, really regret, but I'm glad this was at least well received.

Was there anything kind of off or didn't quite mesh with it?

Yeah.
Partly it's just character flanderization (though pic related makes it hard not to just portray Norman as a straight up psycho), part of it is him not just being Norman but also Sombra, a power-hungry sorcerer king who really, really doesn't play well with others, and part of it is his favorite desk ornament, which will have significantly more impact on the story as it continues.

Sombra sees Anon as a disappointment. A waste of potential who never really did anything with his life (granted, kid's still in high school, but he's comparing Anon to his OWN accomplishments), who bit the hand that still feeds him, and as of late, is only valuable because of a sheer accident.
Remember, Sombra made a totally open "we can rule together" offer that Anon naturally rejects, and was let go without any further fuss., so he's not without some amount of generosity (and might have been his best attempt to reach out) but it's twisted by his own ego and greed.

And I'mma spoiler all that for people who haven't read muh story yet.
>>
>>27822071
Yeah, but he feels a lot more like "IMMA BE KING, FUCK ASGARDIA" Osborn than "Yes Harry, your B+ is amazing, but how come that even with Peter's help you can't reach an A?" Osborn.

I might be exagerating here, mind you.
>>
>>27822141
Eh, fair criticism.
>>
>>27822071
But this is the human world, so Sombra isn't the sorcerer king that is pony counterpart is
>>
>>27822254
Megacorporate billionaire was the closest I could figure
I know Sombra would be better as Doctor Doom, but I wanted a solid analogue for Norman and when looking over MLP antagonists, Sombra stood out to me as the kind of guy who could manage the day-to-day of an evil megacorp powered by the soul-crushing despair of faceless corporate wage-slaves.
>>
>>27822295

you showed up a few threads ago and acted as if you'll green
feels like you want an ego boost by us going madshitcrazy about a brand name writefag, but...
this isn't /soc/, no attention-whoring, please. It's disrespectful to established writefags of this thread.
It doesn't matter what your trip is.

Continued from last thread.

>be Anon
>for the second time today be late
>Mrs. Harshwhinny had you clean her chalkboard on top of taking notes for the lesson you missed
>all 45 minutes of it
>now you have 20 minutes to make it from school to your grandma's house two and a half miles away, before she decides to break out the sandal
>lucky for you a bus just pulled into the stop
>you board and pay the fair
>for once the universe throws you a bone
>then you remember the closest bus stop to your grandma's house is still a 15 minute walk from her house
>[hopelessness intensifies]
>maybe because the driver senses you're despair, or maybe the dude is incompetent, you don’t care which, he blows through three red lights

>17 minutes later you find yourself at your grandma's
>you steel yourself for the beating of a lifetime
>having finally gathered the testicular fortitude for the coming belting you cross the threshold into hell
>you await the shrieking of your undoubtedly pissed off granny
>you stand alone in silence for five minutes as you wait
>at this point you realise that grandma Anon is not home
>you sigh in relief as you make your way up to your room

From the last thread

>Crouched down on the edge above you was Spider-Woman, the bane of all super villains.
>Looking over her, you could see the form fitting black and red spandex covering her body.
>The spandex even showed off her child bearing hips and her amazing breasts.
> ‘Host, is this..’
‘Talk. Later.’
>You stand up slowly as Spider-Woman shot a webline at you, which you dodged.
> “So you a fan or a copycat?”
>You glare at her while standing at your full height.
“Neither, and do you mind. I was about to take care of them.”
>She looks at the two villains and raised her hand, shooting another web at you.
> “Sorry but it’s my job to put them away, not kill them.”
>She pulls on the web and launches herself at you, her leg extended at you.
>Your sense goes off as you grab her leg and throw her away from you.
“Why’re you trying to kick me?”
> “Because killing them won't solve anything.”
>She ran at you with her fist raised.
>You bat her fist away from you by backhanding it.
>Ducking under a spin kick, you punch her in her side and send her skidding against the ground.
>She looks up at you with her fists raised.
> “You're not bad.”
>You raised an eyebrow at this.
‘Why isn't she taking this seriously?’
>You block a few more punches and jump back as she tried to kick you.
> ‘Host?’
‘What, Tonic?’
> ‘The two robbers?’
>Your eyes go wide, not that she could see them.
>Looking just behind Spider-Woman, you could see the remains of your web but no Clash.
“FUCK!”
>>
>>27829502
>You jump over the masked hero and onto the building.
>Looking around, you tried to see if you could find any sign of the two villains.
>Sadly you couldn't, meaning they got away.
>You growl and turn to face Spider-Woman.
“What the fuck is wrong with you?”
>Spider-Woman flinches at your loud voice.
> “What’re you talking about?”
>You point to the pile of webs you made.
“You let them get away.”
>She looks at the webs and all around her, not seeing any villain near her.
“Now if you don’t mind. I'm gonna find those two and make sure they get what they deserve.”
>You shot a bit of webbing and begin swing through the town.
>You pass by a few apartments and a couple of stores when you saw it.
>Spider-Woman was right behind you.
“Doesn’t she have anything better to do?”
>You make a hard left turn and she follows you.
>Looking behind you and see that she’s still following you.
“I need to lose her.”
> ‘I may have an idea, Host.”
‘Well I’m listening.’
>He tells me a fairly simple idea that could work.
>With a plan in mind, you start to slow down a bit.
>She gets a little closer as you stop using your web and flip under her.
>While you flip, two tentacles form from your back and wrap around Spider-Woman.
> “What the-”
>You then grab her and throw her as far away as possible.
>On the plus side, you see her spin like a human top and you managed to get away from her.
>After a few minutes of looking, you decided to call it quits.
“Better go back and get my clothes.”
>It doesn’t take you long to get back to the mall and change back into your regular clothes.
>Pulling out your phone, you dial a number.
“Hey Pinkie. You girls still at the mall?

>Quick steps echoed through an empty school corridor.
>The girl was in hurry. Her friends called her to the school library just after she finished her last period, yet they didn’t tell why.
>At this hour the school was dead silent, and all she could hear wandering was the sounds of her muffled steps.
>It didn’t take long before she reached the library doors and took a look at the empty corridor for the last time before she went through them.
>She entered a vast hall; book shelves were as high as the ceiling, and the room was made originally as a sport hall.
>That view had startled her the first time she had came there, but that was years ago and she had gotten used to it.
>After so many hours spent here, the scenery was too familiar for her to make an impression like that.
>The girl walked into a circle of light that greeted every visitor.
>Her hairs were long and reminded a fire with all the yellow and red streaks.
>Her name fit her appearance.
>Sunset Shimmer directed her steps deep inside the library.
>In the middle of it stood an old table marked by time and generations of students.
>Her seven friends were already waiting for her.
>All of them, but one, were her classmates - other teenage girls.
>The seventh companion was a green haired man in mid of his forties wearing a suit.
>All of them were leaning over the table and discussing something in a hushed tone, as if someone could eavesdrop.
>She came to them and received some warm smiles from everyone, except the man, who only acknowledged Sunset’s presence by a nod.
“So.” started Sunset Shimmer looking at a pink girl called Pinkie Pie. “Why did you call me?”
>“Yeah, why this time?” Rainbow haired girl shifted in her chair balancing it on only two legs.
>>
>>27833538
>“Oh! You know.” She casually waved her hand and pointed at a purple girl wearing binoculars. “Twilight asked me to, since her phone account is blocked and all. No cash, no call, heh.”
>“Yeah.” Said Twilight Sparkle. “Sorry about that, but I have some cash problems recently- but it doesn’t matter. The point is, I called you-”.
>The pink girl gave her a frowned look.
>“Yes, you called them, Pinkie, because I found out that according to these books there is an incoming threat.”
>The little crowd stayed rather quiet as their features had not changed.
>At least for a while.
>“But what kind of a threat?” Asked the white girl with long violet hairs.
>“I… I don’t know.” Twilight Sparkle let out a frustrated sigh. “At least not yet.”
Sunset Shimmer looked at her rather annoyed friends. “It’s ok, Twilight. We know how hard it is to decipher these books and that you’re usually right.”
>It triggered a giggle from Twilight Sparkle.
>Applejack, the orange skinned and blond girl caught Sunset Shimmer’s intentions. “So, heck, fix me if I’m wrong, but we don’t know what’s gonna happen but we know it gonna happen soon and it’s serious enough to be found in the books? Damn, for me it sounds like every Thursday!”
>At that joke all of them laughed a little.
>Even the man smiled.
>“Is there anything we can do to help you with these codes?” A voice came from the only girl that didn’t speak yet. “Because, you know, Twilight, we really want to make it easier for you. If you don’t mind our help, that is.”
>Even after these years it was natural to shut up when Fluttershy spoke.
>Just to make sure she didn’t end up too startled to continue, or casually stifle her.
>It took a second but in the complete silence everyone heard some kind of weak noise coming from the center of the room.
>Something like scratching.
>When all of them, except Fluttershy, looked around with horrid expressions her face turned red.
>>
>>27833544
>Not long after that, the man caught a glimpse of her face and asked with his low trembling voice.
>“Are you sure your bunny isn’t suffocating in your backpack?”
>It stopped everyone from searching for the source of the sound, and made Fluttershy to pick up her backpack.
>Two white bunny’s ears emerged from the girl’s backpack followed by the bunny’s head.
>Some of the girls made sounds of annoyance, and Twilight Sparkle gathered the books on one high pile, protecting them from her friend’s bunny.
>“I told you to not bring him here. He can eat our books. Or piss on them.” Added Twilight Sparkle.
>Fluttershy just kept the trying to run away bunny petting his head. “My Angel Bunny would never do such a terrible thing.”
>Pinkie Pie rolled her eyes. “Oh, you.”
>The rainbow haired girl leaned on the table on her elbows. “Mr. John, can you help Twilight to read these incoherent doodles? Or anyone else?”
>The man raised an eyebrow thinking. “I wish I could, Rainbow Dash, but…” He fixed lapels of his coat. “Shame on me, but even as a Librarian I never really got into this dialect. I must admit, with a small dose of jealousy, Twilight Sparkle has already surpassed me in Solarian.“
>Saying that, he winked playfully to the purple girl. “But if you remember the oracle, she could help, I think. Of course if you would find her and pay her. An actual tribute this time.”
>Applejack nervously laughed. “Yeah, about that… Do you think she still keeps a grudge against us?”
>“No way! We made her a ‘we are so sorry’ party, after all! No one keeps grudge after that kind of party.” Pinkie Pie exclaimed confidently.
>“Maybe, or maybe not.” Said Rarity. “Perhaps we should first ask somebody if it’s safe for us to go there. We may not be welcomed but tolerated is all we need.”
>>
Still At Work Bump
>>
>>27833555
“Maybe we just should keep positive attitude and ask her for help? She wasn’t very aggressive the last time we met her.” Sunset Shimmer winced at the memory.
>“Uh, maybe, but we burnt her house anyway. Who could know she’s not an evil witch but an oracle? Right? And if she’s as smart as you say she is then she already understood our point of view? Right?” Rainbow Dash smashed the table to emphasise her statement.
>A silence leaned in the library once again.
“Actually, you have a point but…” Began Sunset Shimmer but Twilight Sparkle interrupted her with a load groan.
>“Fine! We will just go there and ask her if she’s willing to help us for whatever she wants in exchange. If we can’t do that, then I may as well strikeout sleep from my schedule.”
>Girls looked at each other and the Librarian turned his back to them.
>“You know what to do, girls. I really hope I could be more useful for you, but-” The man got interrupted by a hug from behind.
>“It’s ok, Mr. John. We know what you did for us and we’re thankful. We always will be. And you’re still the best advisor we could hope for.”
>After that, the other girls loudly awww’d and joined in a group hug.
>Mr. John was trapped in the middle of it and had to save himself from the oppression before he would lose his composure.
>“Hey, hey. You have a job to do, you leechers. A-And you should watch over your bunny. Knowing him he’s already long gone.”
>>
>>27833563
>The girls giggled as Fluttershy jumped away from the man just to see that her bunny was still in her backpack, sleeping as best he could.
>All of them let go of him and gathered their backpacks before quickly leaving.
>But he wasn’t observing them.
>When the doors shut closed behind them, the Librarian turned around to the table and collected the books hiding them under the librarian’s counter in a small cubby.
>Passing his powers was the one of the most natural things to him, but he would never admit how happy he was that it had to be them.
>He felt much younger than he was.

>Be Anon.
>BE FUCKING TERRIFIED.
>All your life you have been sharing the joy and woes of the people near you.
>A lot of the time, it gave you an uncanny insight in what they were doing and why.
>It made it practically impossible to lie to you.
>It made it so that you could see who to trust and who trusts you.
>But it also forced you to feel their anger and rage.
>Yet they were always mixed.
>You felt hate and pain born of others, but always tempered with a cause, such as the love for a lost one or at the very least the joy of revenge.
>Even the most ravenous of junkyard’s dogs cared for each other, or for their territories.
>And that is not what is happening now.
>You can feel it, in your skull and throat and chest and bones and veins…
>It’s alive.
>And it’s curious, you can feel your skin ripping in multiple parts of your body and the ooze forcing itself in.
>And it burns.
>It burns so bad.
>Pure anger and hatred.
>No love, care or remorse.
>It’s not hurt or afraid, it just sees you as an oddity, there is no reason for it’s rage.
>You are a thing to it.
>It’s not angry at you.
>It’s just angry at the world.
>You don’t understand, how can such a single minded creature exist.
>Then you feel it.
>The fire oozing through your insides and over your skin.
>You are floating, suspended inside the black sludge.
>Your limbs move by a will not of your own.
>And your skin burns like acid.
>You are not sure if it’s actually eating part of you or is just the empathic burn.
>No.
>A cut near your kidneys.
>It’s searching.
>It’s turning everything in your body inside out and then back again.
>And yet you can’t even scream.

>But between all the pain, something keeps you conscious.
>You can’t help but remember the tall man who gave it to you.
>You can’t recall what he looked like, but you know he took care of you and your friends…
>When?.. What friends?..
>You can feel your pinky finger brush against the knife’s handle.

>You were looking around in the Wonderbolts system.
>And just after a “Wonderbolt” tried to take you in.
>Sunset should be in college right now, just like you do.
>Why would she skip it just to randomly run across you.
>This had been deliberately planned out.
>Can you even go home now?
>Officially it’s the Wonderbolts who want you brought in.
>You don’t think Sunset is with Hydra.
>Heck you don’t even think Sunset is with the Wonderbolts.
>And that Hydra woman had protected you.
>Maybe... the official Wonderbolts don’t know all the thing that Hydra does.
>Officially they probably think Anon West, the hacker interested in Hydra, and the Superior Spider-Man are three different people.
>...
>Maybe Sunset coming to fight you had been coincidence too
>Your aunt did raise you to be paranoid...
>It was stupid of you to go out and search for a fight, but it still got you some good intel.
>Your aunt knew you hacked into the Wonderbolts’ system.
>She was told so by her ‘contact’

>Dammit.
>What do they have planned for you?
>If they have planned something to begin with.
>Until now you assume they only know about your healing factor...
>Was there anything that links Anon West to the Superior Spider-Man?
>...
>But something to link Anon West to the Hacker.
>And she contacted you after the hack...
>It’s Twilight’s password, and you did manage to crack it.
>You probably are on her list of former friends, someone able to guess it right.
>And there are probably not a lot of people smart enough to pull it off.
>Best case scenario for you, only your aunts contact, this hydra woman knows that you’re the hacker.
>Worst case she knows you are the Superior Spider-Man too.
>No.
>Even worse: one person noticed the hack, another is your aunts contact and the woman who spoke to you are all different people.
>If it’s one than this woman is someone your aunt trusts, and she has protected you, and...
>Wait...
>She protected you.
>Someone protected you by doing what exactly?
>Keeping you a secret?
>From both Hydra and the Wonderbolts?
>Auntie had told you to lay low because your Dad had made a deal with Hydra.
>But if they had been actively looking for you, wouldn’t they have easily found you at your aunt?
>There is just too much that didn’t make any sense.
>You shake your head and snap out of your train of thought.
>Looking around and taking in the scenery you notice you’re at the edge of midtown with cheap shops around.

>Every night for the the past two weeks, you have been watching an empty warehouse.
>Tonight however your patience finally pays off.

but Peter was Team Ironman, so he should have signed the sokovia accords, right?
What does that mean for Spider-Man Homecoming?

but you 2099bloke, keep it up

So I get love, huh? I call dibs on it and use the no Take-Back accord.

Also gonna have a couple of Sunset’s friends know her secret and gonna have Sunset have the same experience with symbiotes as Peter Parker

You mean where she thinks Venom is only it for Venom from observing it's misguided way of protecting her when she's sleeping to the point where she confusedly antagonizes Venom instead of trying to research and understand it's actions before writing it off as pure evil? That sounds fun.
>>
>>27836373
I meant that Sunset had a symbiote before, ripped it off and had a villain named Venom.
>>
>>27836421
Oh shit sorry, I should have used past tense with my last reply. I already knew what you meant, I was trying to ask about why she may have done it in case you wanted to make her reasons for ripping it off and views of him just any different from Peter's.
>>
>>27836548
Yeah, and i get it. I'm gonnatry and make it were she’s more or less undure of who Tonic is and his motives are.
>>
>>27836601
She kinda seems unsure already after being grabbed and chucked by a pair of tentacle-like arms. And he told her he's not a fan or copycat, so I'm sure she's as as confused as can be atm.
>>
>>27836649
That’s the point. She has a feeling it's a symbiote but doesn't know of the peopl making them.
Add the fact that Venom and Carnage basicly want to kill her, she doesn't know if the symbiote is a friend or foe

>Be Sunset Shimmer.
>The Spider-Woman.
>You just got out of the shower and dried yourself off with a small white towel that barely covered you.
>Walking out the bathroom door and into Twilight's bedroom, you put on a simple purple shirt and tight black shorts.
>After getting dressed, you leave the room and walk to Twilight's workshop or the basement.
>Doesn't matter what it’s called.
>Walking down the stairs to the basement, you see a few machines on shelves near a desk and computer.
>From the stairs you could see Rarity, wearing a simple blue dress, was holding your Spider-Woman outfit away from her with her nose wrinkled in disgust.
>Twilight, wearing a lab coat, black shirt and pants, was near Rarity and on her computer while going over a few programs you guess.
> “What happened to your outfit, darling?”
>You walk over to Twilight and sit in a chair while sighing.
“The guy threw me into a garbage truck, Rarity.”
>She looked at you confused and a bit horrified.
> “But how did it-”
“Can we please not talk about it? I can still taste some of that crap.”
>Rarity opened her mouth to ask but decided not to.
> “Anyways I should have this cleaned and smelling like roses by tomorrow.”
>You nod tiredly, thankful that you won’t smell like a trash can when you don your suit.
>You hear Twilight tapping away at the keyboard for a program you don't know about.
“So what're you working on Twilight?”
>She looks up from the computer to show you a blueprint of a right hand with a bunch of schematics and stuff.
> “I'm trying to put the finishing touches on a little project, but I can do that later.”
>>
>>27837875
>She minimizes the window and brought up a different window.
>In this window you can see a list of names.
>Names of all the super powered villains you’ve faced.
> “Now, can you tell me what were you dealing with? I thought the symbiotes just disappeared.”
>You lean back in the chair.
“That’s what I thought, but it looks like we were wrong.”
>Twilight looks thoughtful and clicks on two of the names.
>Two windows open, showing a crimson tall man and a dark blue bulky man, both with wide mouths and sharp teeth.
> “You think that was Venom or Carnage?”
>You shake your head, barely giving the screen a glance.
“No, whoever it was that stopped Oct and Clash was more worried about stopping them than killing me.”
>Twilight and Rarity look at one another, confused at that.
> “So we don't know who or what he is?”
“No and it's getting on my nerves. Is he a new hero trying to help or a villain who doesn’t want any competition?”
>You grab a fistful of hair in anger as you close your eyes.
“For all I know, it could be someone from the future with symbiote powers or something.”
>Someone puts their hand on your shoulder, as you open your eyes to see Rarity next to you.
> “You shouldn't worry about that. I'm sure the next time you see him, you'll show him what for.”
>Despite how stupid it sounded, you smiled gratefully at her little speech.
> “You should also let go of your hair before you ruin it.”
>You laugh at the typical Rarity response, glad someone there to help you.
>Twilight smiles as well, happy you're not being some kind of emo kid.
> “Well do you have a plan, Sunset?”
>Thoughts of starting a fire or bringing Pinkie’s air horn enter your head, but you shake it.
“I'll deal with him when I see him. I’ve faced tougher situations before and this won’t be any more difficult.”
>Your two friends nod and go back to what they were doing before.
“Hopefully he won't be like Carnage.”
>>
>>27837886
Not a lot for this part but just enough to give you a look at Sunset and her friends. Yes I made Twilight and Rarity know who she is. So thoughts?

>>27837910
some of your wording is off, also, how does Sunset know about the symbiote? If it was mentioned, I've forgotten.
>>
>>27837910
Why only them?
>>
>>27837997
She had the Venom symbiote for a bit. Just put Sunset in Peter's place when he gets the symbiote and gets rid of it. I'll add a bit of that before I update the pastebin.

>>27837998
I figured having all her friends know would be a bit cliché. Also I was thinking one of Sunset's friends would be a hero as well
>>
>>27838033
It'd make sense for all of them to know with how close they are. I feel like it'd cause a big rift if the rest of them found out and knew they'd been keeping it from them

Well, I'll make it were they all know but the reason why I have Rarity and Twilight is so they help her by making either tougher armor and gadgets.

>Þ And unseen and unnoticed by all but the raging ooze, the ‘scratches’ on the ‘knife’ spark and fill, for its master’s pain rouses the artifact and it in turn starts parting the mists twisting its master mind.
>Þ But it also calls for its brothers, those that were forged in kind, and those that wield them.

>Blue. He was blue. He taught you and your two friends.
>You remember.
>In the theater of your mind a memory plays.

>A hall of gold and silver, where even the sunset’s last lights glimmered against the pillars and ceiling in a sparkling show of lights and shadows.
>And three boys, looking at the golden aurora shimmering on the silver ceiling, while the blue man told the tale of how the real one was caused by the reflections of the starlight on the armor of the valkyror returning.

>You can feel it now.
>A fog bank on the back of your head where no memories dwell.
>But aren’t those of a game? Imaginary friends?
>But you remember a mother, always loving.
>And a father, a… Conman? Criminal? … Liar.
>And thus your hand is the one part of you that’s comfortable, calm and cold in the vicinity of the knife...

>You can’t stop yourself from grappling Nova.

>Þ Still unseen, the knife pulses again, brighter and faster when it gets near enough to its master’s hand once again.
>Þ This time not so much dispelling the mists as it was rendering part of them into naught.

Anon is for bully by forces beyond his control.
---

>Þ Still unseen, the knife pulses again, brighter and faster when it gets near enough to its master’s hand once again.
>Þ This time not so much dispelling the mists as it was rendering part of them into naught.

---

>Another memory crashes into the front of your mind, of the same man and boys.
>An older man, a full grown adult in crimson armor stood bloodied in front of you, his iron sword dented and blunt, his shields shattered, all three of them.
>You were holding a splintered spear, with the shaft shortened and chipped and your last allowed shield.
>The both of you were in the middle of a holmgang, dueling in a circle of furs and taking turns at attacking the other.
>With your turn being at hand you finally manage to finish the duel.
>You feint a legsweep with your shortened spear and, when he sidestepped to parry you bashed his helmet in with the rim of your shield.
>As he had challenged you, you were proven just, and were allowed to kill him and take possession of his belongings.
>Yet from the sidelines, one of your friends, the Just one, tells you not to.
>You left him lying on the furs.
>You learnt days later why he targeted you.
>He had, in fact, accused you of a witnessless crime you didn’t commit. But he just wanted to avenge his brother and really thought you to blame, and acted as the law mandated.
>As you and your friends came to work together, you saw to a peaceful solution for all disputes.
>Your shining halls, everclean.

---

>Φ The ooze is confused.
>Φ This infection does not register in the bloodstream, bile, lymph, sebum, cerebrospinal fluid nor any part of the digestive tract, nor does any abnormal poisons. It only jolts the memory centers and emits a radiation unknown to it.
>Is this confusion that causes it to double up on the thought processes concerning the infection, and thus weakening its grasp on its host.

---
>>
>>27838360

>NO!
>YOU ARE NOT GOING THERE.
>NEVER SHALL DEATH BE DEALT WITHOUT TRIAL!
>It’s with an oddly specific mental shout that you wrestle the control of your mouth back, locking it open and keeping Nova’s head safe and unbitten.
>You aren’t watching and you are ignoring every sound, but think you head Spider-Woman taunting the thing burning you and can most DEFINITELY feel yourself flying through the air and crashing onto something.

---

>Φ The ooze’s research finds finds no solution to deal with the infection, and shifts its focus back.
>Φ Instead of any particular antitoxin it could synthesise, it resorts to what amounts to an easy fix for a being such as itself.
>Φ It cranks the heat up.
>Φ Pyresis.
>Φ It has nothing to fear from a full blown hyperthermia, for it can easily keep its host’s alive micromanaging it cellular functions, preventing protein denaturalization and enzymatic failure.
>Φ It decides to settle on 55 degrees celsius.
>Φ That should kill whatever may be causing the radiation.
>Φ As for the disturbances it may be causing on the memory centers, it decides to check on them itself.
>Φ Its constituent matter has no problem slipping through the blood-brain barrier.
>Φ It finds itself rather surprised at what it finds.
>Φ The presumed infection is, in fact, acting there.
>Φ But is not the only radiation there.
>Φ There is a different one, a green one, keeping a mayor neuron network isolated and dormant.
>Φ The blue one, the assumed infection, is shaving away the green one.
>Φ An antidote then?
>Φ The ooze finds itself compelled to help.

> The problem is...
> A being with the capability to just regenerate neural tissue doesn’t care, nor know, of the term ‘collateral damage’...
