Hasbro is making toys for Disney and have been. If you kept up with their financial reporting Disney and Hasbro has been hand and hand for years even before MLP:FiM. Disney even Syndicated G1 MLP
I'd welcome it. They know they already have a strong fanbase so they won't act careless with their shitty cartoons they pump out. Budget would increase. Advertising would increase. Merch would increase in quality and quantity. We would have a better chance of having the show touch on more darker plots that involve death and physical combat. The fanbase would increase. I would welcome it with open arms. They are doing good with many of the other companies they bought. I just hope the overall feel of the show starts the same. An ideal thing would be if they bought MLP but it could still control itself like with Pixar rn.
