Agatrix / NeysaNight part 1
Was thinking of doing this just for fun and with a totally constructive criticism sort of tone, so why not! I've seen discussions on the differences between these two makers in previous threads.. and since I own both, (Does anyone else own both?) here's my two cents. These are just my personal opinions & observations.
Size / Pattern: Agatrix's LS plush is just about as long as a Neysa LS from hoof to hoof, but is taller and 'bolder' due to a slightly longer neck and more pronounced haunches / shoulder joints, limbs are longer and thicker as well. However the Agatrix plush is noticeably skinnier and shorter in the torso area which several anons have mentioned disliking (me as well), but the butt is indeed much more pronounced. Neysa did do a bigger butt per request on an Applejack LS which could likely be on par with Agatrix if we were to see them side by side. Neysa's LS necks have a tendency to bend downwards over time, the plush's muzzle will eventually be resting on the front legs unless you request extra support, which my Rainbow Dash has. Some people prefer Neysa's rounded muzzle over Agatrix's more pointy muzzle, but for me I think I'm on the fence between the two. I'm gonna say I favor Agatrix in size / pattern overall.
Shape / Cuddling: Neysa's plushies are designed to lay naturally on a flat surface. Agatrix's LS plushies seem to lay more naturally with hooves dangling off the edge of a bed/table. Both are fun to pet, cuddle, and have laying on top of you. I suppose that depending on how you like to cuddle a plush, one or the other may work better for you, in this category I'm gonna say there is no clear favor / neutral.
Agatrix / NeysaNight part 2
Hooves: Agatrix's hooves are very convex and roundish, the shape only defined by the seamline, where as Neysa has a more shapely hoof. She has two hoof styles, her initial one, and her newer one which came from my request on Rainbow Dash to have a more firm & defined hoof shape, and is now one of the options when commissioning her. This is the hoof I prefer. Twilight is sporting the defined hoof as well. I favor Neysa's hooves.
Stitching / Shipping quality: Neysa is known for generally being a perfectionist with extremely durable multi-pass stitching. She also brushes the pile away from the stitch line to reduce how much minky gets caught in the seam, and also hand sews her second and third passes in such a way that the bumpiness of the seam is reduced to practically nil. You can see the obvious bumpiness on the neck seam of the Agatrix plush in the image. (You too Naze..) Agatrix, afaik does just one pass all around. The quality and tank-like durability you get for the price totally goes to Neysa, especially since the only LS to bust a seam during shipping that I know of is an Agatrix plush. In my Derpy unboxing you saw how badly beaten up the box was. No bubble wrap, and a single strand of packaging tape over the cardboard flaps. I made her aware of this and hopefully she will take action on her shipping quality. Neysa's boxes are taped up like crazy and stuffed with bubble wrap to prevent denting/deforming during shipping. I definitely favor Neysa's work in stitching and shipping quality.
Agatrix / NeysaNight part 3
Romantic / Lewd: It's no secret Neysa offers this sort of plush. Both makers plushies have adorable, kissable faces. As for Agatrix, my faux fur mane LS Derpy was her first lewd commish and again she told me she doesn't mind my mentioning that. I have to say... the bigger haunches with which to hold, and the more pronounced butt on Derpy do offer a more exciting & pleasant experience in certain positions. As far as position versatility, both do quite well since they were both stuffed more softly on request. Basically, I don't think stiff plushies are quite as nice for romantic / lewd. In the end, the more shapely design of the Agatrix plush just gives you more curves to enjoy when you're really in the mood. Sooo (to my surprise) I think I favor Agatrix in romantic / lewd uses. However, It's also no secret that my Twilight's tongue is not just for looks, Neysa really impressed me with how well Twilight's mouth functions and her not even charging extra for it since it was the first time she made that. So I also favor Neysa for let's say... lewd feature specialty.
Customer service: Neysa will talk your head off and is such a pleasure to chat with! I mean, Agatrix will always promptly and politely respond, but hell I shouldn't even say how many pages of notes I have between me and Neysa. >_> This subject could be biased, I mean if I spoke fluent Polish perhaps I would have had more dialogue with Agatrix, who knows.
Price point: Neysa much deservedly has raised her prices since she began, and from what I know Agatrix's price has remained about the same. To the point.. I think durability is one of the most important aspects in a long-lasting LS plush companion. I'm gonna say that you get more bang for your buck with a Neysa plush.
That about wraps up my opinions / comparison.

And then you finally see your pony, with their back legs bent so the whole package didn't need to be 45 inches long (and the folded legs actually keeps the pony in place too.
As you can see, the pony is also in a big clear bag, so if any dirt manages to creep into the box, the pony will be ok.

You just gotta save. I know that's 'no shit sherlock' level advice, but it works. I've found it helps if you physically save the money. I have a jar for plush funds where I'll put a few dollars every week. Yeah that was a first time issue due to a sort of abrasive material on the new work surface she had put together, plus the detailed hooves are hard and need extra care when being slid across surfaces... and unfortunately oversight on inspection before shipping. The picture she posted in her journal was 'after' I cleaned them as best I could. It's ok, I still love her work and she more than made up for the error in freebies and future preventative measures.

And for one final photo, here's a pic I took a few months ago, highlighting that yes, their necks do deform over time leading them to rest their heads on their legs.
It's cute tho so it doesn't matter to me.
It might have been accelerated in my case as during my Rochester winters I would pull the blankets all the way up to my chin to stay warm, so her head was mostly covered by the blanket, pushing it down.

Actually, yes. I go running now, and while I'm not benching twice my body weight, I do have a set of weights I use to keep in good shape.
I also buy much better food now. Partially because it's healthy, partially because buying healthy foods in large quantities is rather cheap.
Cutting soda and other drinks out of my diet is one of the easiest things I've done. Ice cold water is fucking delicious.
(Although I had a delicious chicken fried steak at a local diner for my 4th of July breakfast and will be making burgers later. I'll be damned if I don't splurge on the 4th of all days)

It's weird. I like people. I'm social. There's nothing I like more than I night hanging out with friends, seeing a movie, going out to eat, or just shooting the shit. I'm not some basement NEET that avoids all social contact (I actually live in a second floor apartment).

The more I grow, and the more I see the world around me and the people in it, the more I don't feel I 'need' one either. Drachefrau's manes and tails for these pricnesses are made of organza fabric on wire so they're re- poseable. You can flip the mane on whatever side you want and it can still retain shape pretty well. Expensive as heck but they're on point for the quality.

Im not sure if anyone knows this but a really good way of getting minky out of seams is using a gentle cat brush and just brushing the fur stuff out. I just did it on my first beanie and it turned out beautiful and even a lil more fluffy!!
