Prompt threads are a double-edged sword. They're great for starting epic stories, projects and even entire communitiese.g. PAJ, but on the other hand it can easily fall into shitposting territory.
What mods did is stupid, but considering the situation back then, it was a necessary evil. More and more threads are starting to stay alive unlike the past month, though, like >>27790751
