I'm trying to think of other details that could be relevant. She's about four feet tall--as a humanoid, which would make her a rather small Earth Pony. She's a shortstack with an absolutely epic bubble-butt. And she should probably be looking angry, as she's kind of a bitch most of the time, though, if you read the story, it's not entirely without reason or justification--she's had a shitty life. I have no idea what her cutie mark would be--she's a leather worker by trade, meaning she makes shoes and saddles and horse harnesses and such things for a living. Maybe a shoe? But ponies generally wear horseshoes, so I dno lol.
I leave color scheme to the artist, though I suppose she should have a dark mane, tail, and eyes, to match her appearance there.

Well.
You kept the nose's general shape the same as before, but made it narrower and lower. Narrow and skewed placement of the two nostrils makes the muzzle look skewed, and since you left the (albeit much lighter) nose width guidelines in, it looks like it wascarved out of wood.
The lower contour of the muzzle still curves too tight and does not meet the jawline, which is in show style nearly identical to the lower curve of the skull ball.
More importantly, you've changed the shape of the skull drastically. The previous skull was perfectly fine.
