There's no point in even comparing them, they're all so terrible that the improvements of each consecutive one is still marred by numerous flaws and a forever terrible and shitty plot with bleak and boring characters.

It was pretty sketchy for being the first lengthy movie, and considering the environment they chose to roll with they had to make quite a few new assets instead of reusing the old tried and true.

Why was there a portal that lead straight to the front of a high school? Why are all the human counterparts in high school? Why did Sunset believe she could take over Equestria with a bunch of high schoolers? Why did she even abandon Celestia to begin with?
