You and your marefriend just reached Ponyville in your wagon, travelling from Horseton, your hometown. You find yourself a neat new house (you get to choose it! yay player input) and you intend to upgrade and customize it to death.
Now this is Ponyville we're talking about, so obviously weird and/or fun stuff happens every week.
One day you will be tracking down the pony who bought the last strawberry at the market, because you desperately need that strawberry to bake a cake for your fiancée's emo sister, who comes tonight to visit and introduce her new bat coltfriend.
Another day, you'll be fighting (or running away from) angry yaks who kidnapped your loved one, because they mistook her for that one artist who painted "La Libertad", a poignant painting depicting the friendship between yaks and ponies - which caused the young yak Prince to be offended. "Friendship is for weak! Yaks stronk".
Of course, you"ll interact with the local population: participate in Rainbow Dash's yearly prank contest, become a model / mannequin for Rarity, find the lost mail around in Ponyville, find a job to pay the bills...
And at the end of each of these little quests, you'd receive a nice trinket to hang on the walls, put on the shelf, or even a house extension (funded by the Wonderbolts after they accidentally destroy your chimney and about an entire wall). Maybe some of those trinkets would even contain the Magic of Friendship (TM) that will, when shared with all the friends you'll have made along the way, help you defeat the greater evil that will show up during the grand finale..!
I've had that idea for a while and I believe I pitched it already, but I never found the time nor the energy to run it.

It's been about a year or so now since Fins had started his first CYOA and he's been going ever since. I love your silly pones, stories, and your worldbuilding. The Nine Lands feels so huge and alive that I feel that you could make several spinoff CYOA's, but that's kinda the idea isn't it? You can be pretty spot on when you're trying to go for a feel similar to the show too and that's always fun. I also love your schedule that seems like it was tailored just for me and being so dependable that you always let us know ahead of time if you're going to be late or not running that day. You even go out of your way to oblige the occasional draw requests that anons ask for. You've given me plenty of laughs and feels the past year and I wanted to give a little something back in some way for you giving us so much of your free time for our entertainment. I really can't stress how much I appreciate that. I already made up my mind to continue running CYOAs for as long as I could keep going, but it's always nice when someone goes out of their way to do something like this. I really appreciate any fanart and words, good or bad, being noticed is what makes the journey worth it.
I'll have better and worse stories along the way, I might or might not improve in terms of writing, art, schedule and such, but as long as we're having a good time together, I'm sure I'll keep going to bed feeling exhausted and disappointed, and waking up the next morning ready to bring a better session to the table.
