I for one never cared for nor used the upvote/downvote system there. The daily top-scorers are always the same anthroporn kind of shit, and sorting by upvotes just puts the same generic fan-favorite fan artists up front. I actually really like and prefer their filter and tag system because I can usually find exactly what I want to look at with a few combinations of words or find a specific artist all without needing to consider votes ever.

For once I think you guys are blowing things out of proportion. At least talk to the staff about the vague rules so they can make it clearer. I could be wrong, but I do believe they're revamping because of the complaints recently, here, and other places outside of DB, which they should do imo because, as I said yesterday, some of the rules can be exploited. It really depends how strictly they'll interpret that rule. They could be casual with it and unless you go and downvote 50 FoE pics at once just leave you be. I don't think the mods will be active enough to go through users vote history just to see if someone's consistently downvoting a thing over a span of time. Like if you just give a couple downvotes per week on FoE I'd assume you should be fine since I don't see why would anyone care. Then again, FoE is a good example of something you can easily filter.
