I'm completely ok with this. This season was rushed af and that affected the quality badly, so maybe a long hiatus will mean less shitty episodes in the second half of the season.

That's not how it works. Episodes are already written, they're only drawing and animating them now.

Yeah, I haven't explained well. I know current episodes were written months ago, and the season is already completely done. I just hope that, if we're having a hiatus now, that means the writers had more time to write their episodes back in the day. Or, at the very least, this hiatus will give them more time *now* if they're now writing season 7 episodes. Either way, I thing a long hiatus could be something good.
Maybe that's not how it works either, it's just I prefer long hiatus and good episodes over short hiatus with... whatever this season is supposed to be.

If the 2nd half of S6 is anything like S5, MLP will come back before eqg is released. Right now the book is set to come out September 6th, which means EQG 4 will be on Netflix September 1st. If that's the case, MLP will be back 1or 2 Saturdays before then. So August 20th or 27th.
