did nobody notice the GORDON RAMSAY pony in the latest episode around the 19 minute mark?

i laughed my ass off at this.
>>
>>27630146
Not angry enough to be him.
>>
>>27630146
That's not Ramsay. That's some pyromaniac dress like a chief.
>>
>>27630154
You have to get behind the mind of Ramsay. He's always pissed because a lot restaurants make shit out of their Ingrediences. Did you ever saw Ramsay Cooking? He adores his Ingrediences.
>>
>>27630146
>i laughed my ass off at this.
I don't understand this. How are references funny? "Look, that thing you know is here." So what?
>>
>>27630192
welcome to neo/mlp/

where episode are 8/10 just because "new pony" and a pop-reference makes it a 10/10
>>
>>27630207
I seen this happen way too many times before.
>>
>>27630192
>>27630207
References can be funny if there is an actual gag or joke, you Europeans/Autists. However yeah, in the case of OP I don't see how it's funny, amusing sure but there was no real joke

I get very annoyed at autistic people or Europeans who don't understand the basics of humor though, lots of jokes go over their heads.
>>
at least it wasn't totally random shit and was pretty much expected to happen
>>
>>27630146
Still hoping this happens.
>>27623686
>>
>>27630248
Better yet do it with Ramsey pone and Saffron.
>>
>>27630207
oh fuck you
>>
>>27630238
Dude, Europe tries to fix things that America fucked up since decades! Did I mentioned that you are basically a descendant of an European?

>sry, has no context to the topic
>>
>>27630271
Europeans have crappy humor and don't understand true humor, is all I meant.
>>
>>27630275
What is true humor?
>>
>>27630271
And Europe seems to be doing great right now you know with the constant raping, beating, and all around conquering of their people by mudslimes
>>
>>27630238
Kek, what's with all the misguided hatred for Europe? Someone disagrees with you or dislikes something you like and that's why you think he must be European? That's like me saying a person is fat and stupid, so he must be American.
>>

All great comics have come from the US, and lots of them have spoken ill of European audiences. European comedy seems to be exclusively enjoyed in the place it comes from, while US comics seem to often have worldwide acclaim
>>
>>27630368
Honestly, I actually agree that European comedies and most movies in general are terrible, but claiming that most Europeans have no idea what good humor is because of that is nonsense. After all, American comedies are very popular here too - much more than European ones, actually.

Not trying to be an SJW telling you not to generalize here, but especially the younger generation in most of Europe is way more into American and Japanese stuff than Europe's selfmade shit, which is a development I embrace.
>>
>>27630368
Who gives a flying fuck about comics nowadays? Give me proper literature, movies, or music.
>>
>>27630432
>likes modern literature movies and music
>doesn't like modern comedy
Well you're doing these ass backwards

the sense of humour is usually shaped by the culture which is in turn shaped by the language.Translating them doesnt nessecarily always work. Additionally, consider what gets published in the mainstream. I can remember that retarded dummy act with the undead terrorist dummy being advertized constantly. It was well in the mainstream and I used that to gauge the quality of American comedy, I'd say american comedy is a LOT worse than it actually is.

Getting exposed to the actually quality content from a nation whose language you don't speak is hard, if only because of translation.

Agreed, but...
>which is in turn shaped by the language. Translating them doesnt nessecarily always work.
That's another thing - most young Europeans despise their countries' dubs and always watch the original in English.

Granted, even if you're fluent in a foreign language, you perceive it differently than your mother tongue, but at least the jokes don't have to be translated and potentially fall flat. Also, growing up with the internet already being so popular automatically increases the effect other cultures, especially the American one, have on a person and its sense of humor.
>>
>>27630480
Thats because jokes translate poorly across the language barrier, and because the dubs tend to be really, REALLY inferiour.

The only dub I've ever seen that I'd consider on par or superiour to the original would be Aladdin, and parts of the voice cast in Medabots.

I agree that esspecially with the internet we're much more able to understand american humour, but that doesnt mean we dont catalog it as its own thing. We've got our own humour, and then there's english or american humour. They can both be entertaining but that doesn't mean they're the same as the native humour. It requires an understanding of the culture to some degree. I think its more understanding than it is about being affected or influenced by american culture.

Though similarly, things like Asterix and Obelix had just the right sense of humour to pass the language barrier.

Underrated post. Europe is in the shitter right now no matter how much you eurofags deny it.
>>
An actual discussion without any side pulling strawmans and calling the other guy a retarded faggot with shit taste? What is this?
>>
>>27630496
>inferiour
Christ, this spitting in Latin's face of an abomination of English is making my eyes bleed. Why were Anglo-Saxons so cool for a few decades until they went into full French dicksucking mode after 1066?
>>
>>27630512
Apart from a few ones, EU-fags seem to be pretty open about it. They even complain about the current leaders being SJWs or heavily influenced by them, so there's really hardly any denying.
>>
>>27630512
>>27630535
To be fair, is there any continent that isn't in the shitter right now?

Fuck him, who's the pony in the center with the flower in her mane? She's gorgeous.
