Anyway I completely remember when they came out, people were excited to see what Hasbro would do with human versions when so many ideas for human versions already existed at the time. Then they went with this, making their proportions Bratz-esque, their clothes overdone, etc. People were just so fundamentally disappointed because Hasbro almost seemed to go out of their way to ignore all current ideas and make the trash they would have made if they had seen or knew of none of it. They entirely passed us over. Then you got the little weiners who'd come in from ponychan and tell us it was our fault for...liking naked women, or something? Or having porn at all?

I'd argue they're more human than a different sort of animal with anthropomorphic features. Like you could probably argue a case for anthro, but the differences are so minute, such as their skin color, that it seems rather unnecessary to make such a nuanced classification.
