CQ players have done it once again. Ya, let's just go ahead and ignore the potential possibility of having a cute demon pone companion like in JAD.
All we've done is just avoid risks all together and make the quest boring, which ultimately results in railroaded conflicts to keep it going. This "don't do anything, it's gonna absolutely kill us" mentality is way out of hand.

The QM had some life things going on at the time I think, so not much progress has been made. All we accomplished is getting ourselves nearly killed again and annoying the undead leader even more.
Because walking in dark rooms with killer ghosts and eavesdropping the ones we trust is a more logical thing to do than trying to talk to a demon that just wants to get out from being trapped in a book.

Okay, so for the three, maybe four, people that still paid attention to JAD, I suppose I owe an apology/explanation for the delays.
Well, its not much of an explanation, I've just been busy. Whole reason I'm retiring from the qm'ing trade is because I don't have enough time right now to do it so, surprise surprise, it's tricky finding enough time to run the last few sessions of JAD.
On the bright side, it's pretty much just epilogue time at this point - wrapping things up as best I can at this point. I'll see what I can do this weekend.

Not true. Only started talking about what I have to do to properly tag and upload them when I was being accused of being lazy. To clarify I tag the artist, the cyoa, make notation of who is the creator, and provide a link back to the source.

The thing is, I wanna start a new cyoa which will involve analicorn MCand also a heavysystem with stats
The story would be about the 4th child of the royal family of a land which is NOT equestria, but more like a random realm in a fantasy setting.
However, at the king’s death and against all odds, his last will was to split the kingdom in four pieces among all his children, forcing you to become the ruler of a small realm.
The story will be about bringing your country to prosperity and glory, through any mean the players would see fit.
For that, the players will be able to manage: the economy, the military, the magical academy, the spies to perform various missions, as well which events to participate in to make sure their relation with the foreign countries, but also the nobles and people of their country, remains as they should be.
To help them, players will be able to choose a First advisor, a General, and a Spymaster among the former advisors of the former king which all have different specialities and drawbacks.
The story usually go like this.
Taking decisions for the month to come for the different important structures of the kingdom, but also the MC and the advisors.
Once this is settled, we skip to a highlight moment of the month, which will be more like a classic CYOA where you meet new people, talk and do a bunch of things. Usually, a particular event will demand you to react immediately to something happening in front of your eyes and it will have repercussion on you, on you reputation, or something like that.
Once the event is done, the end of the month come and you get the results of what you did this month and other various news from your kingdom but also from all around the world, and then it’s time decide what to do for the next month.

That’s the basics, now, the real fun begins
The main gimmick of the story will be the World Crown
You and all your siblings wear a part of this legendary item which made your father a king form nothing
This wondrous item, when worn, creates an empathic bond between the ruler and his country, allowing the ruler’s personality, but also strength and knowledge, to directly affect his people. Which mean that for example, simply training yourself in the arts of battle will be enough to substantially increase your army’s strength. The abilities you share are grouped into three stats: strength for the army and authorities, intelligence for the wizards and the spies and charisma for the merchants and diplomats.
There’s three points to this item
- First, it allow to “realistically” have features of the kingdom drastically change in a matter of months, making the management a lot less boring and allowing for quicker reactions to country related problems
- Second, it allows me to tone down the paranoia a real ruler in such a situation would experience. Indeed, the crown allows the ruler to immediately see people who aren’t loyal to him thanks to the empathic bond with people, makinf high treachery impossible. For the same reason, wounds which should be fatal will only decrease the strength of the country a little, as the wound is shared and diluted among thousands of people in the land. I don’t want to play on Princess Maker difficulty. That also why the MC would be an alicorn, as the crown make him share the feature of the unicorns, pegasus and earth ponies living in the kingdom
- And third, the crown, by its tremendous powers, will be an important part of the plot and allow for interesting development which go beyond a simple strategy games. All its powers will not be revealed from the start.

A cyoa about ruling a country might be fun, but the strength of running a game on 4chan is letting anons run wild with your setting and characters. Don't constrain them with too much systems. Use a system in the background to keep things fair and random, sure, but hide it from the players.

I've mentioned it before, but I really think that it's Dr. Lodestone from Cyborg. He spent the entire quest saving lives, healing the crippled with cybernetics, and undoing the damage of an insane filly-raping cannibal cult leader who chopped ponies up and sewed them back together as monsters. And what did Lodestone say when he met the guy in person?
"Once I have saved everyone you hurt and undone all the damage you caused, I will make sure that you are given the psychological help you so obviously need."
That guy went over and beyond on being the good guy.
